I am wondering which has been a more positive experience? Also, what is the difference in menu items? I have seen the menus on allears, but would like a personal experience to help judge?

We are already doing CRT breakfast, but would really like to see Ariel (DD personal fave!)

Any input greatly appreciated! THANKS!~!

My brother and his wife just returned from WDW on Saturday. They went with my mom and then their two little ones. They said that the meal was HORRIBLE, they would never go there again. That was the only meal that they did not enjoy. They didn't eat at CRT because they were told it was two credits (which is true, but they started their trip before the change so they could have gotten in before the 1st).

He said that they say Ariel in the lobby and then Alice in Wonderland, Jasime and Prince Ali were walking around in the meal.

All in all they were disappointed.

I'm curious as to other people's experiences also ...I have a Princess breakfast booked for May when I take my 22 year old "princess" for the first time! from reading reviews, I gathered that the breakfast was a pretty good meal.....

We had lunch there back in May so I don't know if this will help or not- We had a great time the food was different but remember you are in Epcot so that means you are eating "ethnic" foods from which ever country you are in. !st appetizer plate (adult) different smoked fish, and cheeses with crackers and something I don't reme, ber Kids- trail mix type stuff, ham crackers and cheese they loved it! ENTREE- adult- DH had the Salmon and said it was wonderful I had the PAsta wihch was also really great- you can order as many entrees as you want - KIDS- DD had spaghetti basically but was too busy watching the Princesses to eat much DD#2 had grilled chicken, corn and---? she loved it I think they can also choose from a few other things too. Now Dessert WOW was great the strawberry rice cream wonderful as was the chocolate mousse and the little bar things(?). We saw Belle (blue dress), Cinderella, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty and Jasmine they each came to our table posed for pictures and signed autographs- it was really fun and the server we had was great too! :woohoo:

We ate there Sunday and loved the lunch. THe cold appetizer bar was fabulous with all kinds of cheeses, shrimp salad, smoked mackeral, pickled herring (my fav) bread, roast beef, turkey, salad, potato salad. Lunch was great. My DH had a lamb stew which I tasted and found awesome! I had the pasta and chicken, also very good. Kids had pasta and I think a hot dog or mac and cheeses. Lots of princesses. Ariel in lobby, Jasmine, Alice, Aurora, and Belle. Desert was so-so but I was stuffed anyway. Highly recomend!! :goodvibes

BTW: I found this way better than dinner in the castle with new format!

So you can get "regular" foods there for lunch?
Smoked fish and Pickled herring sound :crazy2: , but I'd be ok with pasta and chicken or chicken salad or something like that. Can an adult order from the kid's menu?

We want to do an Akershus meal as well with a higher chance of seeing Ariel (also my DD's fav.) but I get the impression it's much harder to find her there at breakfast (the least ethnic of the day).

We went to the princess dinner in July because my niece's (7.5 years old)favorite princess is Ariel and did not know what to excpect. The food was actually pretty good, appetizers and desserts were the best. But the joy that my niece got out of seeing Ariel, we did not tell her because we did not want her to be disappointed in case Ariel was not there, was absolutely priceless. Even if we had not eaten it would have been worth it but we walked out of there full and had 3 picky adults with us. One adult did get a double portion of a kid's meal.

Lol. The least ethnic of the day sounds funny. Ariel is never scheduled to be at breakfast. Belle is there in her yellow dress. But that doesn't mean she can't be there. She is usually at Lunch/Dinner. I think you should book one of the two and do as LAWalz23 did ie not telling your little one who will be there so she is not disappointed. You know those princesses...sometimes they have to attend a royal engagement and can't make it. ;)
