Taking DD, DSIL and DGD age 2 1/2 who just LOVES the princesses. I booked the dinner at Princess Storybook Dinner in EPCOT. Has anyone eaten there? Is it any good? Is there princess interaction?

I just know that when I went into Norway - as it was once known to me - all I smelled was fish and it was nauseating. I want this to be special for my little "princess". I do have the 1900 Park Fare - which is not at the Grand Fl Cafe - hope it is as good as 1900 was, and the lunch with Einsteins, she loves them, and CP, Chef Mickey, LTT dinner, Garden Grill and Mickey's backyard bar b que - I think she ought to be charactered out by then!

But if she were to see Bell, or Snow Wipe (as she calls her) or Sleeping Duty, or any princess, she will flip!:lmao: yes, this is what she will do!:rotfl2:

We did it about three years ago with my niece (6 at the time). The food was nothing special - eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit - but the interaction with the characters was quite good. We had the first seating. A nice touch - they select one guest to open the restaurant with a magic wand. We saw Jasmine, Mary Poppins, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and one more that I can't recall. Lots of one-on-one time with the princesses and lots of photo ops - they stop at every table. We felt it was worth the money and my niece had a lovely time. Can't remember smelling fish!

I'm eating there during my next trip, so I'd be interested in some dinner reviews as well.

We did LOTS of character dining this past June -- CP, CM, GG, 1900 Park Fare, CRT, and PSB -- PSB was my dd's favorite -- even over CRT! She had her picture taken with Belle and then we saw Cinderella (we were surprised she was there), Ariel as a Bride, Jasmine, and Sleeping Beauty. The food was EXCELLENT! You'll have fun there!

Oh, TexasDisneyGirl! Thank you so much!!! It sounds perfect...The dinner menus looked good too, and if my granddaughter gets to see all those princesses, she will be in HEAVEN!!:thumbsup2 :cool1:

We had dinner there in July 06. Ariel in her blue dress was the greeting princess near the door. Jasmine, Alice, Belle, and Aurora came to our table. All were very sweet; Aurora even gave DD a kiss on the cheek and left the lipstick mark as proof.

Everyone except for me liked the food. Mine would have been good, but it was overcooked (I had the salmon). The cold buffet has lots of choices including some very traditional ethnic food and some basic stuff. My kids ate a lot of bread. There were lunchmeats and some fish dishes but also things like green salad, fresh fruit, cucumber salad, and potato salad.

Dessert was our favorite. You get a platter served family style, and all three selections were very, very good--so good in fact that we had seconds (I think I was extra hungry because my salmon was not good and I didn't finish it).

I would certainly recommend it if you want to see princesses.

I went for my 20th birthday last year for lunch! I know, I'm such a kid. :goodvibes I thought it was great!!! It feels really cool inside like a castle. The cold buffet has a lot of "normal" stuff like bread and lunch meats but some interesting things that you might not ever try that is the classic Norweigen (spelling?) flair. I got the braised lamb for my entree and it was delicious!!! The dessert was amazing as well. I think I may have some pictures on my computer at home so I will try and find them and post. The princesses were very sweet and interactive. We saw: Ariel, Cinderella, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty and Belle. I was there with my DF and Belle was like "Shall we swoon over your beast?" It was hilarious! I definitely recommend it!

My daughter and I had lunch there and the food was really great! Different but well prepared and tasty. I especially loved the cold buffet and desserts. The menu is much the same as dinner with a few exceptions. Personally, after having princess meals virtually everywhere at WDW I think this one was the best. They have a wide variety of princesses and they all come to the table except Belle (when we were there) and you get to meet her one on one and have your picture taken. All the princesses sat down or got to my daughters eye level and spoke to her. It was as personal as it could be, very sweet. They were very kind about my taking numerous photos too. You won't be dissapointed!:thumbsup2

Oh, I can't wait! She will be so delighted! And as grandma, I will be just as delighted watching the joy on her face:love: The princesses coming on eye level and speaking directly to her....worth every penny!!

We've had the dinner there twice. My daughter didnt know what to do with the food. She gladly ate everything on the dessert plate. She had ate cheese and tried a few other things off the buffet. I recall her not being there for the food. lol. I thought the food was nice - I had salmon. The desserts were all great. The princesses really took their time. We always take the 1st seating. We've seen Cinderella, Ariel (blue gown), Mary Poppins, Alice, Jasmine, and Mulan there.

Just have done the Princess Breakfast here and the character interaction was superb! Mulan made an appearance on our last visit.:thumbsup2

I have taken my daughter to the Princess Storybook Breakfast and she loved it. Great character interaction. Food was very good. You will really enjoy it. Dinner food may be a little different for your personal tastes, but it sounds like there is a partial buffet now. (We went to lunch back a few years ago and I did not care for my entree. I left hungry. I guess that I could have asked for seconds of something different, but I didn't know that was possible.) I would miss the opportunity for your little princess. And I would personally give the restaurant another try for lunch/dinner.

On a side note, don't forget to visit the character tent in toontown at MK. There are usually three line (each for three princesses). And the picture turn out great!

Also, while in Epcot continue walking around the World Showcase. We saw many characters available for pictures and autographs.
