This is our first time as a family to WDW and I have a 9 year old son and a 6 yr old daughter. I've seen tons of stuff about Cindy's Royal Table Brkfst and how hard it is to get ressies. Is the Princess Storybook Brkfst at Epcot a good alternative? What is it like?

Thx.

It is a pretty good alternate to the Castle.
We were there last month & we had visit us, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Mulan, Jasmine & Mary Poppins. It is served "family style" which includes, fruits & pasteries, scambled eggs, a potato dish, saugage & I forget whatever else. Oh I remembered they had Mickey waffles for the kids too :)

It is in the Norway restaurant. All in all it was a very good meal & I don't really have a bad complaint about it.

If you are looking to see Cinderella, you will NOT find her here. BUT a good alternate for the Castle, if you want to dine with Cinderella is 1900 Park Faire for supper. There you will dine with Cinderella, The Prine, Perla & Suzy (the girl mice) & the Fairy Godmother is in the lobby posing for pics & chatting with the kids.

Out of the two (Princess Breakfast in Epcot & the Cinderella Supper) I would do Cinderella Supper again in a hearbeat. The food was delicious & the characters did not seem rushed, where at the Epcot breakfast the only two that didn't seemed rushed were Snow White & Sleeping Beauty.
Snow White was the BEST!!!!!

Where as I really don't have any major complaints about the Princess Breakfast, I think I would like to try something else instead of going back. It was good just not "knock me to the floor" good ;)

So much so that even though I was successful in getting CRT for our upcoming trip (and had PSB as a back-up) I decided to keep both. We did not have Snow White at our breakfast at PSB but we had Cindy herself! I was so surprised. I know our experience is not the norm but I was very happy to see her. I thought the food was good and the character interaction was just right for my family (I was with my husband, teen son and brother). I think the breakfast at Epcot is a wonderful alternative to Cindy's and I would not hesitate to book it again and again!

hey jackson mom, I agree about Snow white, she seems to always be the best! so sweet always!

Laura :)

8 days til WDW!!!!!! YIIIPPPPPEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We met the most AWESOME Snow White at Cindy's. If I get some time, I will post the pic. The had the sweetest personality and her mannerisms were PERFECT.

Thanks for all the info. I have one more question. I made PS ressies and they told me I had 48 hours to cancel without penalty. Is that 48 hours from the date/time of our ressie or 48 hours from the day I made the ressie (i.e. yesterday I made the ressie - would I have to cancel by tomorrow)? And, what is the penalty?

Thanks for any info.

Your 48 hour window refers to the time up to your seating, not the 48 hours after booking.

I hope the other posters' good experiences rub off on us; we'll be there on the 21st!
