Hi! I am starting to plan an early December trip (Tuesday through Friday after Thanksgiving) and would like some princess advice. I have twin boys who love to meet them but want to get the biggest bang for our buck. Do most princess lovers do both the meet and greets in Disneyland and a character meal at Ariels? Are the princesses the same or are they sometimes different? Any big advantages or disadvantages to either? We will not be able to take advantage of early entry mornings, if that helps but will have park hoppers.

My DD has always been a Princess lover, so we do both. There is some overlap. We were there last week. We saw Cinderella, Snow White and Belle at Fantasy Faire in Disneyland. We were there in the middle of the afternoon and there was only a 5 minute wait which was great. We did breakfast at Ariel's a couple of days later and saw Ariel, Rapunzel, Tiana, Cinderella and Belle. There is some variation at Ariel's and at Fantasy Faire, so you never know who you might get. You might get the same ones, or you might get a variety. We are not fans of the current lunch menu at Ariel's (we ate it right after it changed last year and hated it), so we did breakfast. Breakfast was fantastic. The food was really good. We also saw Olaf, Anna and Elsa at DCA. Anna and Elsa have FP which is not connected to anything else (meaning that you can hold a FP for them and for something else at the same time)- it is very easy to go over and get a FP which gives you I think a 20 minute window to come back and see them. Ask the CM at the machine what time it is currently spitting out. For us, we had to come back because the first time did not work with our dining plans. We saw Olaf twice on two separate days. I have heard there is a rush for him first thing in the morning, we saw him in the afternoon and we waited 20 minutes the first time, and less than 10 minutes the 2nd time.

We had the same at Ariels grotto for lunch. Ariel, Rapunzel, Tiana, Cinderella and Belle. When we did Princess Hall we saw Cinderella, Snow White, and Jasmine. We saw Rapunzel and Merida just outside. Saw Aurora at the wishing well on the other side of the castle. You can end up seeing them all but you will probably end up seeing some twice.

We do both! I like getting the better pictures in the PFF with our Photopass Plus

There is a decent amount of overlap with princesses between the PFF & AG, but my daughter doesn't care. If you watch the lines at the PFF, you can get through there with minimal wait. During the parade is a good time. Avoid going when the show is getting out across the way at the Royal Theater.
AG is like a well oiled machine too....you see all the princesses one after another. Picture with Ariel at the front, and then 4 other Princesses make the rounds during your meal. We saw Cinderella, Tiana, Rapunzel, & Belle

Our last trip we went several times to PFF & saw Snow White, Cinderella, Mulan the first time. The 3 other visits we saw the same 3 Princesses Snow White, Cinderella, & Ariel. (It was a 5 days visit and we went every day we were in DL, lol)

In December 2013 we saw Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, and Princes Minnie Mouse.

Check out kennythepirate.com - he has lists of where to find ALL of the characters, including the princesses.

Thanks all! We will probably do both. And I will definitely check out KTP, as I thought he only had WDW info. Thanks again!
