Thanks girls, she is doing much better. She still isn't 100%, but definitely way better then she was. Phew!! The migraines, well that is another story. But we'll get there. Thanks for keeping my sweet girl in your thoughts.



Awe, thanks. Monkey is still sick but i'm hoping he starts to turn around soon. Last night was a rough night for him, fingers crossed he doesn't get worse. Poor dude. Love the graphics, they are so cute.



Hello. No package yet...hopefully soon. I don't want you to stress about it. I hope you have an AMAZING vacation - I can't believe its almost here. Sorry I haven't checked in on your PTR in a bit. I haven't been on in a few days, so i'm so behind on everything. Thanks for keeping Peanut in your thoughts, it means a lot.


Tomorrow is the day for Peanuts admission. I just feel sick about it all, I just want her home where she belongs. I hope the week goes by quickly, that it all goes according to plan (only a week admission and no longer), and that her tube change goes smoothly too.

Annnnd, check out the next post, we got another BIG GIVE yesterday!!

Her admission was always planned for tomorrow as thats when her Dr is on call. We'll see her in the morning for her normal weekly appt, acess her port and draw blood for the TPN. We are hoping she'll let her leave after they take blood (fingers crossed), so she can go to school, and we'll bring her back after. Plus, with needing her tube changed, its easier with her Dr there, since Peanut feels most comfortable with her. So it works out all around, timing wise. I just hate her being in the hospital, its so draining for our whole family. I miss Monkey (and hubby) and while they come to visit Peanut (and me), its still hard. And with Peanut in isolation, that means no walks or going to the play room. Which makes for an extra long stay and feeling even more isolated then you already do when in the hospital.

I'm a day late in posting this BIG GIVE, but here I am finally. This Big Give is from Chiara (not sure of the Dis name?), she sent along WISH tees for the the whole family, and Mickey/Minnie shirts for me and hubby. The shirts are awesome, and we definitely love the Mickey/Minnie ones. You did such a great job Chiara, thank you SO much for doing something so special for our family. Sorry for no fashion show, the kids were feeling crummy and a little on the stubborn side.

Oh I always do...our last WDW trip in 08 I have 3 scrapbooks and that was for only 5 days in the parks...this trip will be 11 days, plus Discovery Cove, two animal safari's and the Flower & Garden show....I have 4 memory cards, plus will be getting the photopass, we get a free CD code with the Wild Africa Trek Tour!

I need to add memory cards to my pre-Disney shopping list. I have 2 of them, but with our little digital camera that has the video and my good SLR camera, 2 is not enough for an 8 day vacation. LOL! I love taking pictures!! Great score with the free CD - is it for your photopass?

Thanks! I won't have my laptop, unfortunately. For whatever reason, we can't get it to pick up the hospital wifi. I will be able to get online, just not sure how much posting I can do from my phone (i'll try though). Sometimes there are netbooks available for use (if there aren't too many teens on the floor), which is nice for Peanut to play on some websites she likes. So if we can score one, i'll be able to post. Fingers crossed!!

I think we might be able to get an iPad, one of the Child Life Specialists told Peanut they were ready to go (they got some for Christmas, but had to have them set up by the IT dept. If not today then hopefully tomorrow, that would be fun (i've never used an iPad before).



We're here in hospital, all settled, and its no fun (not like I expected it to be). Siiigh, its going to be a loooong week. Her port has been accessed, and she is ready to go. Her weight is down 200 grams from last week, so of course this solidifies that this is right thing for Peanut right now. She now weighs less then 25lbs. The plan is for her to start TPN today, and next week they'll dilate her tract (very nervous about this, as the last time they did it she was in quite a bit of pain for a few days), and put in a mic-key. Fingers crossed all goes according to plan, a mic-key would be AMAZING!!!

Soooooooooo, another Big Give or TWO arrived today. I only have a pic of the boxes for now, we'll all to be patient for further pics (the kids haven't even opened them yet, so I don't even know what they are). Now, I won't be able to upload any pics from here on out, until we are discharged. I will update as we get them, and talk about the kids reactions and what we got. But unfortunately, no pics for at least a week-10 days. I will take some though, no worries there. I hope you understand Big-Givers, just being in the hospital makes things a bit more complicated. Peanut was SO excited when she saw the packages, and loved the Mickey's all over the box. But she did ask me quite seriously where Minnie was. She was not impressed that she wasn't on the box, she totally cracked me up. I told her that whoever sent the box, must have ran out of marker before she could draw the bows. Love it!

So for now, a pic of the packages. As soon as I can, i'll post an update about who they are from, and whats inside.

I am so sorry about the weight loss. Hope she can get a Mic-Key we loved Avy's. I hope she is not in to much pain when they do it. I has to hurt because Avy complained when they did it to her and she never complains
