DH came home tonight from work tonight, saying that he spoke to a woman he works with that goes to Disney every year and she told him about a Princess Party (?) that is inside Cinderellas Castle, and also in Epcot... anyone know what this is?? She said that if we want to do it, to call earlier than the 180 days out because the one in the castle get filled up within minutes... If anyone has any information about this one its appreciated! DDs love their princesses - though Minnie is out front right now!

This sounds like the Princess meal at the Castle in MK or the Norway Restaurant in EPCOT. I think to get the one in the castle you need to call 1st thing in the AM on the first day you can book dining reservations.

The meals are:
Cinderella's Royal Table
Princess Storybook Dining
from this AllEars:http://www.allearsnet.com/din/cb.htm

Hopefully someone else can respond with more detailed information.

I second ntink the only two things that are in the castle are the meal and BBB and they don't have BBB in epcot they only have the princess meal.

There is also the Princess Tea Party at the GF w/ Princess Aurora. I'm taking my dds there in June as a surprise and can't wait! We're also want to do the Akerhouse in Epcot for lunch one day....

Thanks for all the info guys, it is the Cinderella's Royal Table - good thing we are getting the DDP because darn is that expencive! I've heard its a "must do" for families with little girls, and since mine will be 2 and almost 4 when we go, we HAVE to book it!
Thanks again!

As a PP said, this fills up in minutes (especially breakfast, for some reason). You will need to call exactly 180 days out at 7:00 and have a credit card ready. The info from the co-worker about calling more than 180 days out is incorrect - you can't do that. You can make most ADR's 180 days from the first date of your trip (and for up to ten days later, so it is referred to as 180+10), but you have to call at the 180 mark for CRT.

Good luck!

Just to add - there is a Pirate and Princess Party at the MK (not inside the castle) that is hard-ticketed event held during several times of the year. I know that is not what the co-worker was talking about, but you might check to see if it is happening when you travel.

Definately call at your 180 day mark at 7am and keep your fingers crossed. Tell them right away that you want to book CRT for some point during your trip. Definately suggest booking breakfast. We found the food at the dinner meal to be AWFUL. I don't know if this is worth two dining credits. We do the dining plan but pay for CRT OOP. It's not a must do for us but it is for DD!!!
