I gave my daughter a Princess Party a few years ago and made a lot of the party favors. And they were a big hit. I made princess wands with wooden dowel sticks, pink paint, glitter, curling ribbons and a bunch of pink/cream roses. I taped the roses to the ends of the dowels, then painted them pink and sprinkled the glitter on them. Then I took curling ribbons in about three or four colors and tied them under the roses and curled them.
I also made crowns out of pipe cleaners, colored tulle, and the curling ribbons as well. I took the pipe cleaners and made a crown, then tied a long piece of tulle down the back till it almost hit the floor and then tied on curling ribbons in different colors and lengths down the back and curled them.
We also did a pin the lips to the frog. We drew a picture of a frog minus the lips. I then cut out lips from red foam and attached double sided tape to them.
It was a big hit. You can also use any extra wands as a center piece. I had parents tell me their little ones kept the wands for several years. You can buy all the supplies at a local craft store. I bought the curling ribbon (the large rolls) from Michaels on sale.
