Please bear with me as this will be the first trip report that I have written. I’ll try to keep it short and sweet yet allowing all of you in on the important parts. If worse comes to worse and I babble just scroll down and skip the things that are unimportant to you.

Cast
Myself- Nikki 20 years old and a Disney Veteran. I put together this trip when I found out the following
1) My family was going on the high school spring break with my older sister and the ENTIRE neighborhood, leaving me in charge of 6 houses……grrr
2) I took a cheerleading coaching job that would not allow me to vacation during my spring break
3) The stress of college was getting me and I needed an escape
4) The Happiest Celebration on Earth. Who knows if I will be able to get down there in the 12 odd months it is running
Ryan- 20. My boyfriend of almost 2 years. He has never been to WDW yet alone FL. He needs to see the mouse!

Noah- 20 Ryan and my roommate and Best friend. He hasn’t been to the World since 4th grade and is always up for an adventure

Muneesh-21 a friend of ours who works for ESPN. He found out about our trip and wanted to come and join us, as well as give us a great cast discount.

Performance Dates
May 6- May 12

Hello Everyone! Thank you for joining me on my trip pre-cap!
Ok so I am going to WDW! What could be better!!! I have gotten a fairly good flight and a great price on the Boardwalk Inn (thanks to Muneesh).

I have been having a great time using these boards to help in my planning. So far this is what I have on the agenda
6th- Checking in and Illuminations curise on the breathless
7th AK- Donald’s breakfast
8th MGM- Fantasmic Dinner package at Hollywood and Vine
9th MK or Disney Quest or Water Park ( IS MK DOABLE on a MONDAY?)
10th Same as above Hoop-Dee-Doo reservations
11th Epcot Princess Storybook Lunch
12th Chilling out in the morning, possibly checking out Full Sail (production type college) Flying home at 4.

I am thinking that we are going to have a lot of fun while we are there. I know we will probably check out Pleasure Island at least one night while we are there. I hear the Adventure’s Club is Great!

I am getting excited because we only have 30 more days left and I only have 14 more days of school at Western Michigan University for this semester!!

I hope you all enjoy hearing about my plans/trip! Let me know if you have any suggestions!

Sounds like you're going to have a great time. How'd you snag the Breathless? I got up every morning at 4:45 for a week to call from Colorado for our 25th anniversary, and it was never available. You'll have to let me know how it was!!

Have a wonderful time!!!

Sounds like you've got a great trip planned!

I just had to post and say hi...I grew up in Portage. (Do you know where Aldersgate Drive is??) I was just telling my dh the other day about my mall-rat days at Crossroads. :teeth:

Thanks everyone!
TC- I don't know how i did it. I actually ended up calling almost an hour late. I just wanted a pontoon but they were gone, when the lady checked the breathless was open so I snagged it!
LizNboys- Of course I know where Aldersgate is! My fired lives on that street! I live on Austin lake. And Crossroads is still awesome but Orang julius and Ruby TUesdays are gone :guilty:

Nikki,

You've got my Illuminations cruise! I tried to get one for 5 days in a row, no such luck!

I hope you have a REALLY great time on it! We'll be there when you are!

Don't limit yourself to MK OR DQ OR a waterpark - do more than one a day!! You're young - where's your energy?! :bounce:

Oh neat! I grew up in house #330 (white siding..atleast is used to.) And I spent many summer days with my friends swimming in Austin lake....ahhh the memories of carefree childhood days... :) We would ride our bikes down Bacon (I think that's the road there??) past Lake Center. That's too bad Orange Julius and Ruby's are gone, I wonder why? I worked at the Things Remembered store at Crossroads for about a year. :)

Interlude

So it is only 2 weeks until I leave for The World! I am getting really excited! I can not wait to be there. The weather man is predicting snow for the next 5 days so this trip will be pulling me through this cold icky time.

I am planning everything out in my head right now. Our first night I will surprise my party with a wonderful ride on the Breathless! I have never done one of these cruises before and am extremely excited! It will be my first time having a view of illuminations from a place other than right outside of future world!

Then on Saturday we will wake up early and head over to the Animal Kingdom. I assume we will hit the safari first (either for a ride or a FP). I plan on then working my way around to Bugs life and Dinosaur with fitting in Tarzan and Lion King in at appropriate times. We will hit up Kali rapids sometime before we leave hopefully grabbing a FP for it at sometime. In the afternoon we will head back to the BWI for some R&R before heading to the MK for Spectro Magic and Wishes. I figured what is a first full day without some glimpses of the castle.

Sunday I have MGM planned. I can’t wait for RNR and TOT! I am not normally a roller coaster person but I love these Disney rides! I can do any coaster that Disney throws at me. We have a Fantasmic dinner package planned for 4:20 at Holly wood and Vine. I booked this thinking that Fantasmic might be extremely packed and this way we would be guaranteed a seat. We will try however to get a center seat. I love all of the stage shows at MGM. I am somewhat upset that they don’t have the Hunch back anymore (I know it has been gone for a long time but I can whine right?) Beauty and the Beast takes my breath away and I love laughing through the Little Mermaid. I am anxious to see the new Lights motor action show and am sure the boys will love this as well as the Indy Stunt show.

I have Monday planned as a free day. Depending on moods and weather we will either be going to Disney Quest, Blizzard Beach or Magic Kingdom. I am sure after 2 hard days at the parks we will be ready for a rest.

Tuesday the fun starts again at Magic Kingdom. We are going on a non early day. I have never been on a non early day but I’m hoping for the best (low crowds). We will probably get some good castle pictures and then head over to adventure land and start at the JC and working our way around. I’ll try to save splash for later in the day so we don’t walk around too wet (FP of course). My party will probably avoid toon town because we are all over the age of 20. I can’t wait to eat at the new noodle station! It looks so delicious! I am hoping to get in a rest at some point because this night we have Hoop Dee Doo at 9:30. I love this show to death! I have been to it numerous times and every time I come out laughing. I am a little concerned how we are going to be getting from FW to the BWI but I will figure out something when we get there.

Wednesday will be our last full day at the World so we are hitting EPCOT in full swing. I want to go on Soarin’ so bad! I am interested in this technology and how it works. I am hoping to spend more time at World Show case this year than I have done in the past. I normally just walk right on through and hit up the Norway ride. I will see the American Adventure this year because I have heard such great things about it. We have the Princess lunch set up for 1:20. I am thinking about canceling it however because we are not liking the menu very much. I’ll figure out what I’m going to be doing once I get the gang down there. I don’t have to cancel it until the 8th so I’ll be safe.

Thursday is another day that has yet to be decided. We have to be to the airport at 3 so that means leaving property at 2:30. I think we might just hit up some of our favorites or anything that we might have missed. There is a possibility that we might go to check out the college Full Sail because my boyfriend has always wanted to go there for computer game programming.

I know we are going to have fun and can only hope that our trip will be sprinkled with lots of Pixi Dust!

I’ll write more on my vacation. I just thought I would give you a nice planned out pre trip report for your enjoyment. And this way I can compare to see how my plans compare to what actually happens.
