Princess meals other than CRT

I have read about the new breakfast in (I think) Epcot and we are thinking about going for this one instead of CRT. I just don't think I want to go through that stress again, my ??, is it as hard to get ps' here as it is for Cindy's? I have read it is becoming quite popular since Cindy's is so hard to book. Also, I believe I read something about 1900 Park Fair having a Princess dinner, any help would greatly be appreciated!!!

We were lucky enough to get this breakfast within the 1st couple of months it was open. We really enjoyed the experience. We have never attended CRT and with this breakfast and all the bad press that CRT gets, crowded, rushed, little character interaction and of coarse dufficult to arrange PS's, we have stopped trying to secure CRT PS's.

We had no problem getting PS's for this trip. As a matter of fact I booked it for Dec. 11 while I was typing this reply(thanks for the reminder).

We have done both of these. We booked the Storybook Breakfast in Norway when it was new as well, so I don't know how difficult it is to get now

However, having done CRT 2 times and this once I give it two thumbs up!! CRT is nice - but this atmosphere was equally as good, the food was better and so was the character interaction at the Storybook breakfast. For some reason, we also did not seem as rushed AND from a picture taking point of view - the lighting was much better. Service here was very good as well.

The dinner at 1900 Park Fare was good as well. Same characters pretty much all of the time - Cinderella and the Prince and the two mice with the Fairy Godmother in the reception area doing photo ops and autograph signing. The atmosphere is a lot more relaxed and the food was YUMMY! There were a lot more little darlings dressed up when we were there - I guess because they didn't have to tromp around all day in those HOT and itchy costumes. All in all a great experience.

Definitely agree with the previous posters. We've done both with our DD. While she loved the idea of being 'in the castle', it was more rushed, with less interaction than the breakfast at Norway. We also felt that the food was better at Norway.
I also wanted to tell you about a nice surprise we got at the Princess Breakfast that I don't think too many people are aware of.
Posted this before......but since it's relevant to the topic.

DD and I had 8:30 reservations for the Princess Breakfast in Norway. We were staying at Y & BC, so we went in through the International Gateway and walked through World Showcase to Norway. Since the front of the park wasn't open, we were the first to arrive at Norway. As we checked in, the greeter asked my DD, "Would you like to be our Princess of the Day?" She was taken inside and given a Princess hat, jeweled cape and magic wand. Then, they brought her back outside and she called all the kids to the door - tapped it three times with the wand and opened the door, leading the kids in to see the Princesses!!! She was given a special seat and a "Princess of the Day"certificate with her name on it which all the princesses signed for her. When each of the princesses came to the table, they all called her by name and referred to her offical 'title'. I can't even begin to tell you how excited she was - it made her entire trip! That's Disney magic at its best !
I hadn't heard about this before and thought others might want to know.
