We are going to DW in November and have twin girls who will be 4 1/2. My one DD is obessed with Cinderella. We are trying to decide which would be best for a princess meal; breakfast, lunch dinner???

My girls are pretty picky eaters and we are paying OOP. We are already doing Chef Mickey's breakfast one morning, any ideas to see the princesses.

Thanks

Personal choice would be Akershus in Norway. I took my twin girls there when they were 5, and they loved it.

If Cinderella is her obsession, I'd also consider 1900 park fare. Theres Cinderalla, Prince Charming, the stepsisters and the stepmother. We went there last trip and loved that too.

I agree about going to Akershus or 1900 Park. CRT is nice, but IMHO expensive if you are paying OOP.

I would go to CRT for breakfast or lunch (everyone should eat their once if it won't break the bank) or 1900 Park Fare for a more affortable dinner.

Akershus is great for breakfast but you are not guaranteed Cinderella. The princesses rotate. For example, in May, we had Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Snow White and Ariel.

CRT is ok for breakfast but I think for dinner for picky eaters it would not work.

We loved Akershus! We got lucky and had Aurora, Cinderella, Ariel and Snow White, plus picture with Belle. It was great :goodvibes

We opted for 1900 Park Fare (twice!). Explained to DD (then 5) that she could have Cinderella for dinner AND Mary Poppins and Alice for Breakfast OR could have one meal with Cinderella in the castle. She opted to do the two meals (of course, I was careful to say that it wasn't guaranteed to get any of the meal... just in case).

And I guess I should add... great character interaction, my 2 year old DS loved it too! Food was good, but not great. Loved the strawberry soup though!

We are headed back again this time... for an 11am "breakfast". Last time, with that ADR the kids played ring-around-the rosie and hide and seek with Tigger and Pooh, because the restaurant was so empty. FUN!

With your trip less than 2 months away, getting an ADR for any meal at any of the restaurants that feature Cinderella is going to be very difficult. Thus, I wouldn't worry about which meal; I'd just try to snag any ADR that you can.

Akershus is my choice for princesses but like the other person said Cindy is not always there. I would go with 1900. I think you can meet her in MK. We were taken to a spot on main street to meet her and have a picture taken last time. It was awesome!!!!!:yay:

I'm right up there with most everyone else on here.....1900 Park Fare. If she loves Cindy then this is the place to be, it's also the only place you get to see the Prince up close and personal, besides the parades.
I think there is more interaction here when it comes to Cindy, not just a picture taken and then moved on.
Besides I love seeing the GF, it's such a beautiful resort. :cloud9: I'm sure the girls will love it too. :lovestruc

of Seeing Cinderella at the castle (B?L/D) or 1900 Park Fare (D only). She does appear at Askerhus but it is not a certainty.

1900 Park Fare can be fun. A lot of that comes from Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drisella. Some young girls may not have as much fun there since the mother and step sisters are sort of wicked. I get a kick out of them.

For CRT I think it depends on your touring preferences. A lot of people like an ADR before the park opens. That a bit early for us (though we do like to be there for rope drop). Dinner is later in the day and we're worried that our daughter will be a bit frazzled by that time. So we opt for lunch.

Akershus breakfast would be my first choice for your DDs because it is cheaper than CRT and has a lot of Princesses. That said, we're doing CRT for our upcoming trip because my DDs (then 4 and 3) wanted to go inside the castle. But they LOVED meeting Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Ariel, and Belle at Akershus. I don't know what the current rotation is. The breakfast food is also tasty and plentiful. The other Akershus meals also have Princesses but you may want to check the menu before booking there to make sure there is something to your kids liking. I've also heard good things about dinner at 1900 Park Fare, as far as entertainment but mixed reviews on food.

We did the Cinderella dinner with our nieces and they had fun but no one liked the food. We did the Norway breakfast twice and we all had a wonderful time but Cindy was not there.

Honestly, the girls had more fun when we did the Cindy and Prince meet and greet in Toon Town than when we saw her at the dinner

We did 1900 Park Fare with teenagers. What a riot. DD was 13 at the time. The to say the boys weren't thrilled by the prospect was an understatement. But they went anyway for their sister. That and the buffet. Being able to get seconds is a big plus with them. DS's were 18 and 20 at the time and their buddy was 18. Well as soon as Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters spotted them they pounced. We also got alot of good interaction with Cindy and the Prince. The others were the real stars though. They had us all laughing so hard there were tears in our eyes. DD is always up for a good laugh at her brothers expense. The boys have since told others that they need to go here if going to disney.
