Geting soooo excited now only 10 days until we go to DLP for the first time.

Been looking at the info and tips regarding the Pincess meal and wondering if the £106.00 for all four of us is really worth it??
What exactly do you get? My girls are both 3, come on guys convince me!:rotfl:

We love the food as its better than theme park food but its not to everyones taste. Have you looked at the restaurant reviews at the top of the page.
Ive got one to post tomorrow with pics of the food

I have eaten her twice and at first was very aprehensive about the food but it was very yummy, DD who is 3 didnt think much of it and ate like 2 mouthfuls of the pasta dish.

We are eating here (or shall i say i will be eating the food lol) again in September, its great for meeting the Princesses.

Are you sure it will be only £106 for the 4 of you? Last week when we ate there we had vouchers, but in December we paid (I think) 76 Euros for one child and one adult.

I have taken the figure of £106 off someone elses post re pre paying for the meal. Just spoke to a friend who went last year and she said did not enjoy the food but did enjoy the experience and her daughter who was 4 still remembers it.

it think the prices are 55 euro for an adult and 20 euro for a child. unless its the half board vouchers you are talking about

I read somewhere it is £106 for 2 adults and 2 children if you prepay before you go, I plan on doing this on monday so i will confirm the price then.

We did this with our daughters who are 2 and 4 on Christmas day this past year. We had done it before at Disneyland in CA and they loved it. If you can pay in advance, I would do that - it is VERY expensive! It might be something we do once a year or so. Neither of my girls really ate their food - it's too distracting to have the princesses roaming around. It's also difficult as they're used to American food and this was a little different. DH and I thought the food was decent (much better than the food at the princess meal at DLR). You get to see Cinderella when you first come in - we got there early so she spent quite a bit of time with our girls. Then early on for the meal (and actually throughout the meal), Suzy and Perla will come out and spend time with the kids. Then you will get to see two princesses and their princes. We saw Ariel and Eric and Snow White and Prince Charming.

If your girls are into princesses, I think it is really a fun thing to do. Our girls were dressed up in their princess dresses (one was Ariel, one was Snow White so they were happy to have met those princesses!). We noticed that the majority of the people eating there seemed to be doing it because it was a "nice" restaurant rather than to enjoy the characters. So, we found that the characters really paid a lot of attention to our girls because they were by far the youngest there.

I don't know how to post pictures so if you'd like to see some, let me know your email and I'll send you some.

Our last trip we didn't see any princesses and I thought the girls would be disappointed but we went to Cafe Mickey twice (SO MUCH CHEAPER - if you don't do the menu plans) and they got their fill of characters there. Two trips to Cafe Mickey was still far cheaper than one trip to Auberge!

In comparison to the princess meal at DLR in CA, it was kind of a disappointment because we got to see 5 princesses there! Oh well... at least the food was better!

If you decide to go, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

After much thought, we have decided not to go!! Will save the money and go to cafe mickey or rainforest or even both.

Also am hoping to convince husabnd to going to Florida in October, so can use that money towards that!!

Thanks for al of your replies

I decided this yesterday too - my girls have done the Cinderellas at WDW and the Princess meal at Akerhaus in EPCOT, both of which were outstanding although we all preferred the Akershaus (we saw Cinders, Ariel, Belle, Snow White and photo op was with Aurora), it was a more relaxed atmosphere with the starter served buffet style, regular entree and the puddings shared family style. I'm concerned for all that money the girls won't like the food and I'd end up taking them to Cafe Mickey as well!
Therefore, we have decided on Cafe Mickey instead (well, I have, it's a surprise for DH too:lmao: ) and save the princess meal for our trip to WDW next year:goodvibes
