I saw a reply on another thread that said there was a photo package included at this meal?? anyone have any info on this, we are going in June for the first time with 2 little girls. thanks

When you get called into the restaurant, Belle is there to take a pic with you. Then while you eat they come around with the picture and you get the choice to buy it or not. I can't remember how much it was, sorry!

I read somewhere on the Dis, as well as on another website, that starting in April the package is included with the meal like with CRT.

Really...that would be great seeing how I'm there in 2 weeks!!!!

Only thing is the price was supposed to be jacked up a lot to go along with the photo package. :scared: I checked over on Deb's site, and she doesn't have anything noted on the menus yet about this. Is this definitely confirmed by Disney, or has it not yet been publicly confirmed?

I don't know how to post a link to another post (sorry) but it was a reply to a thread that I started on Feb. 29th titled 'Princess Breakfast at Akershus' (if you want to search for it). I asked if it was still going to be 1 table service credit even though the photo package was now going to be included. The last post I received from someone said:

"We booked breakfast for June. The CM said it was 1 TS credit, and that the photo package was included. I do remember her mentioning that it would not be included until April....hopefully that hasn't changed, because we loved getting the free photo pkg at CRT."

We went in March and were on the DP. Yes it is one TS and the photo was not included. We spent about $30-$35 on the picture.

From alllears.net - "A photo package will be included for ALL reservations made for April 27, 2008 and beyond for Princess Storybook Dining at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot."

FYI - it isn't always Belle who is out front to meet you. ;)

We had lunch there back in October 2006, and we met Ariel in human form. :goodvibes

Hi when Belle greets you is she in her yellow gown? thanks:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

But yes, if it's Belle out front, she's in her yellow gown. If Belle is in the restaurant visiting tables, she's usually in her blue dress. princess:

Here is the entire reference on allears including the pricing. Of course if you are on the DDP pricing won't be an issue.:)

A photo package will be included for ALL reservations made for April 27, 2008 and beyond for Princess Storybook Dining at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot. Prices are as follows:

Yes, we doubled and triple checked. The holiday pricing includes the entire month of June!

Price includes non-specialty, non-alcoholic drinks (sodas, coffee, tea, iced tea, lemonade, punch, milk). Tax and gratuity are NOT included.

We have an ADR for Sept. With the picture pkg now being included I wonder if Akershus will go up to 2TS credits and if so when?

Just chiming in. This is confirmed as we made ADR's for July and I was told it will include a 4x6 (I think) of you and one princess (no guarantee which one) before hand (like CRT) and 4 smaller photos. And you now pay in advance like you do with CRT. Looks like CRT is so popular they are making this a second little CRT. I went ahead and booked it anyway. I will let you all know how it was when we return !

I just made an ADR there last week and didn't have to pay up front. The CM told me it was 1 TS credit- I did have to give my CC number in case I don't cancel within 48 hours- they will charge $10 per person in the reservation.

I wonder what the changes will be for 2009?

I booked for May 11th and didn't have to pay up front either. Do they add these pictures to your photopass or is this different?

That was my experience as well.:)
