Princess Marathon Weekend Questions

Hi! I just registered for the 10K and now I need to learn how to run, ahhh! I just wanted to see if anyone knows what the preferred resorts are that they will provide shuttles from? Also does anyone know if they are doing an after party this year? I think in the past they have done some sort of even in the evening after the races. Thanks!

I am in the same boat - and finding it a little frustrating that you don't know the room rate until seemingly you pick your hotel and then phone the number provided for Race discounts?

Obviously I'd prefer something cheaper but then again I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for a nicer hotel with a good discount. Originally I thought to stay on Idrive but actually with the warnings of crowds / delays and so on, I think it's safer to stay in a hotel with transport to event and where you're surrounded by people who can help out with queries (I'm running alone).

Will be watching this thread for any advice offered!

Don't know about the after party, but ALL Disney resorts are host resorts during the Princess Half weekend. Check out the travel section of runDisney.com.

Also, I wouldn't recommend booking through the IRUN number. You'll almost surely do better with some other discount (room only, free dining, etc.). The discounts through runDisney are typically not as good.
