its been a few yrs since we have done the princess lunch thing wasnt impressed but i hear they made changes on the menu also is there a breakfast?

thoughts experience?

allears.net is a great place to look at menus for the different restaurants at Disneyland & in DTD.

We've done the breakfast, which is served family style. You start with a 3 tiered platter with fresh fruit, meats, cheese, pastries, etc. Then they bring out a large hot dish full of potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon & sausage. It was very good.

I think Ariel's may have done a bit of a makeover in the kitchen. We weren't that impressed in 2005, but every since....we've really enjoyed our meals here. It is an excellent place for dinner with the World of Color dining package too. (no princesses for dinner)

i like the breakfast option glad they have one gotta have the princess.

WOC we do the picnic meal so got that covered thanks though :)

We just did the Princess Breakfast at Aerial's Grotto two days ago. It was super fun! As other poster stated there is a 3-tired plate of fruit, pastries, meat/cheese. Not a ton of food but enough. The skillet of eggs, bacon, sausage and breakfast potatoes is VERY good and there was also a waffle with berries and cream that my kids liked. You also get a drink - juice, coffee, hot chocolate, etc - we ordered more than one without a problem. The total bill for 2 adults and 2 kids was $115. This included gratuity and taxes.

My girls had a great time and so did we. The princesses really took a moment to talk with each table - I thought it was really well done. Expensive breakfast, yes, but worth it to not stand in line and wait to see the princesses (at least to me).

is the princess breakfast you order off the menu or is it just what everyone gets?

sounds to me it not a buffet like minnie and friends?

you do not order off a menu. you just get what everyone else gets - pastries, cheeses, meat, fruit, waffle, scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes and choice of beverage.
hope this helps...

The breakfast at Ariels is served family style. You get served your food at a table but I believe you can ask for more of something if you run out.

When we went last year it was more than enough food for us, but they were very prompt refilling drinks.

I did the lunch a couple of years ago (Nov 2009) and was really impressed. Don't know if it has changed since then but at the time the table got a tower of meats, cheeses and vegetables and then everyone ordered an entree off the menu. After the meal the table got a plate of assorted deserts.

We will be doing lunch again this November.

We like doing a late breakfast, just for timing purposes. That way we can eat a snack really early and then get a lot of rides done and then when it comes time to eat we are ready for a break and a sit down.

The food was very good when we went for breakfast. Nothing out of the ordinary, but good eggs and fruit. The princesses were very very good and spent a good amount of time at each table.

last time we did the princess lunch was 2008 and didnt really care for it back then.

since then we have done all but story tellers and always hit minnie and friends because its in the park.

we figured we would give the princess another try not worried too much about getting on the rides we will have 6 day passes plenty of time to ride.

I do know they changed the menu since 2008 so we will go for it this yr thanks for all the info :)
