Princess Lunch at CRT?

We have ressies for the new princess lunch at CRT.
Since the first day for this lunch is the day we're arriving at Disney (June 10), I won't be able to look for info on this from ppl who have been there, done that...

SO, my question is...has anyone heard anything about this lunch? My travel agent made the ressies, and told me what the CM told her, but it wasn't much...maybe they didn't know yet either!

Is it a family style meal, or just plated meals, or do we just get to order off the lunch menu, appetizer, entree, desert and drink for the $25.00?
Are the characters the same as they are for breakfast?

Last year, we were in CRT as the fireworks were going off, it was an awesome magical experience, and I'm hoping I can have a *comparable* experience for lunch .

The meals are plated, but you get to choose between 4 or 5 different things...just like if you ordered off the menu. SO, shouldn't be too bad at all. I think you share a family style salad and dessert though.

Cinderella's Royal Table Character Dine -- Beginning June 10, a new Character Lunch will debut at the Magic Kingdom! All your favorite princesses from breakfast will now be at the midday meal! The character lunch will feature family-style salad and dessert and the choice of five adult entrees or children's meals along with a nonalcoholic, non-specialty beverage. Lunch will be $23.99 for adults (12 and older) and $12.99 for children 3-11. A deposit of $10 per adult and $5 per child will be required (as is currently the case with breakfast).

We are doing the CRT at lunch on June 12, by complete accident. I called for a PS, not expecting a character meal, and to my surprise, it is!

I'll be on-line from the Dolphin, so I'll try to post something later that night.

(By the way, I wouldn't get your hopes up about a magical experience at lunch, with fireworks!! )

If Disney can make spectacular fireworks magically happen at lunch time, I'd be tempted to sell everything I own and take my family to live somewhere inside space mountain...
