Princess Half Marathon Weekend 2026 (Feb 26-Mar 2, 2026)

Thank you!

One of the things that also worries me during a long one, like the 1/2, is bathroom breaks. I’ve heard the lines to the porta potties can be long. And I pee a lot.
The first set of porta potties always has a super long line. If you can skip those, you can usually find a shorter line down the road. If you can wait until Magic Kingdom, you’ll have a choice of several “real” bathrooms. During this past Princess half, I missed the last bathroom in MK (it was a different route than usual and I wasn’t paying attention), but the next set of portas had a short line, thankfully.

Also, a HUGE tip: if you have to wait a long time in the corrals before starting, you can dart out the back of the start chute to take one last trip to the portas in the starting area. I always do this and it keeps me from having to use the bathroom right away on the course. You’ll want to be on the left hand side as you’re walking to the start line; there will be volunteers near the barricades and usually one will create a small opening for people to dart in and out. Just make sure they see you, and they’ll let you back in.

And if you want a shorter line try the men’s bathroom. One year I was waiting in a long line at the first bathroom at the MK entrance when the boyfriend of the woman behind me came out to still find her waiting in line. He said there were already some women in the men’s side and he offered to walk her in there. She ultimately said yes and a few more of us went with her. There was probably about 5 or 6 other women in there already and when I got out the women’s line had barely moved.

The funniest thing about it was the guy who finished up and said to all of us “Don’t tell my Mother I didn’t wash my hands” as he headed out the door. 🤫

As often as I touch my face when I'm running, that last bit gives me the ick 😵‍💫

Given the number of men I see pull off and just pee on the edge of the wooded areas within the first couple of miles, this should definitely be fair game for us ladies🤣
I used the men’s bathroom during my first ever Princess Weekend. Mile 4 went by the TTC and the line for the women’s bathroom was out the door. I saw a lady going into the men’s and I followed her. No line!

Hi all: I've been around but like a lot of folks the DIS has kinda fallen off my daily stop wagon. I'm having debate with myself. Do I use my CRD reg. for 5k or 10k. I "must do" 5k but I can also use all the buffer I can get for 10k and I've found if I use CRD reg for that I get earlier corral. ON top of that I need to get friend signed up for all 3 on public reg day. It's not my first Rodeo signing up and I've had good luck in past but the one time I really want a race will be one time my luck fails me.

I'm pretty sure you get the corral bump regardless if you use your early registration link or not, assuming your membership is active when the race comes around and you're Platinum. Sounds like you might be Gold, since you only have one early registration to use, which means you don't get a corral bump from the club membership. Your assignment will be based on the estimated time you enter at registration.

That said, I'd use the guaranteed entry for the race you MUST do.

Yes I'm Gold so no Corral Bump but it seems to be that by using my Early reg. I get seeded to earlier corral because my friend( who I have to sign up) gets later corral even with exact same pace put in. Like this year ( 2025) I was in A( I used my Club sign up for 10k) and she was in C and had exact same pace put in as I myself.

It could be that they just stick non-platinum CRD members in the first corral for their expected pace. Popular pace ranges can get spread over multiple corrals, so maybe you got the "bonus" of being in the first applicable corral while your friend randomly ended up in the last one.

I was I Hamburg last summer at a concert for a very popular singer. I went to the men’s room before she took stage and the line to the men’s room was as long as the women’s restroom because of women in the line. Well this is Europe and whatever so I got in line. Then a nice German fellow informed me that I can just go in the exit door to access the urinals and bypass the line. He said this is the norm. So I did. In and out. Fantastic. This was German efficiency at its finest.

Very possible but it doesn't seem to apply for 5k when both of use are signed up within secs of each other, she seems to get earlier corral ( not that it matters)

I'll be using my CrD access to register in a few hours and will grab screen shots of time drop-downs, merch pre-orders and anything else you all are curious about. LMK what you want me to watch for!
Yah! I can't wait to see the merch pre-orders. I only hope that next week's registration isn't too awful. 🫣
