I'm turning 40 in January and this is also my celebratory weekend. It'll be my first official rD challenge! The 5k/10k double isn't official

Not sure if others had the same experience, but this seemed to be the smoothest and fastest runDisney registration process we've done so far. I wonder if they really cleaned things up after the 2025 Marathon registration issues.

I thought things went really smooth. Happy they didn't have a repeat of the Disneyland registration issues that caused them to reschedule registration for another day.

Once again, thank you so much to @DopeyBadger for reposting this *very* helpful tip right at the start of registration today. I was fortunate enough to have spare links with short times today and was finally able to share them correctly in a DM instead of messing them up like I typically do. I really appreciate the generosity and kind spirit of the folks on this board and happy to be part of it.

I hope everyone got the races they wanted! DH and I got in the 5k this morning and I am just waiting for my charity links for the challenge to come through so yah! Happy training friends. See you in February!

My group always stays at Caribbean Beach because we can take the sky liner to two parks and it is a pretty quick trip to the race in the morning.

I was booked at Pop but switched to Dolphin a couple weeks ago because they were having an AP discount that made it less than Pop.

I registered myself for the challenge, and then went back in and registered myself and a friend for the 5k. That was very stressful. The 5k sold out about 20mins after I finished, I think.

I have a room booked at BWV. My first time staying there for a race weekend. I usually stay at Saratoga for races. I like all the handy food options at Springs, and the bus ride from Saratoga is not too bad.

Send a message via the Contact Us on the runDisney website and a CM will touch base on the possibility of getting email updated. I know they merge accounts so I don't see why not. Good luck!

The 10K is ran around Epcot, correct?

It starts and ends there but for the last few years, they've run some iteration of this route:

There's another route they use for some 10ks that runs almost entirely around World Showcase + Crescent Lake but given the fact that they've run some iteration of the above (start in Epcot lot, road miles, touch of HS, a portion of Crescent Lake, end with a path through part of Epcot) for the last three years I would proceed with the expectation that they do it again in 2025.

I just want to say thank you to @Stitch&Co. and @nancipants for sharing your links. It was a whirlwind, but I was able to register my son (6) for his first 5k. He is really excited! Thank you to this community for all your help! It's a great place to get support!

Yes. Important to note (given the message you were responding to) that the skyliner isn't transportation for the races.

We always stay at the Dolphin for race weekends. The busses are rarely crowded and we got a super AP rate.

Code is QWH. As long as you are not checking in until Thursday of race week, rates are super cheap. We are doing a split stay as we are arriving before then.

Well, with absolutely no intention until maybe last month to do so, I'm doing Princess again. My cousin knows what she's doing by just staying quiet but really kind so I want to vacation with her again.

We are in for what we're calling Chall-oga. The Challenge and yoga. I also thought I retired from the Half distance in 2023, but eh, I know I can walk it if need be.

We plan to volunteer for the 5K like we did for the Half this year.
