Princess Gathering - Grr!

It's grasping at straws, but have you tried clearing your cookies/memory and then redoing it?

I just called Disney because I was curious and had time. The CM did not understand what the original error was but did look into the four time slots I was able to view on the website. He said the reason I can still see them is because there is space open for 1 person during each time. I disagreed because I had been trying to only put my dad into a spot and it wasn't working.

Long story short - because my original reservation was canceled by the mysterious SeaWeb error his supervisor is looking into booking all five of us into a spot any time during the cruise. She is going to call me within 24 - 48 hours. That's nice of them and I hope it works out!

That is interesting. On our previous two cruises, the tickets were giver per room not per person. It sounds like now they are doing them per person. That could make things trickier for sure. I'm sure there are cases where one room has 3-4 kids who want pictures and autographs while other rooms only have 1, but I have a hard time believing that it was a significant enough issue to warrant individual tickets.

No, if linked and one is say Platinum and the other is Gold, you can book Platinum at 120 for those in that stateroom, and then " all" at Gold 105 days. Otherwise everyone would link to a platinum cruiser thry know to get booking at 120 days.

Thanks! I didn't think it was correct but read it on another thread.

DCL just called. They were unable to secure tickets for all members of my party. I was able to get my dad into a 9:45am slot and myself into a 10:15am slot.

Question for those who might know though:

I am not able to book just my daughter in a time slot, I assume because she's 14 months, so I booked myself. Do they allow this? So it would be me holding her for the pictures. It's a legit reason, just not sure how they handle that.

Again, in the past, they have given 1 ticket to the whole room. I can't imagine them actually counting tickets per person. If nothing else, just say that the ticket is hers and you are accompanying her.

Edit: I have never suggested circumventing the rules before, but I really find the idea that a room could be split to be annoying.

The original Princess Gathering saga was back in July. At that time, I had given up hope that I would be able to get my entire family into the gathering. I kept randomly looking on DCL's website but couldn't get availability and I didn't want to run around the ship trying to book it rather than enjoying vacation once we were there.

Well... 2 months later, Disney calls me. It's the same woman I spoke with back in July. "We have magical news!" They had been watching availability since my initial phone call and just today were able to get everyone into the Princess Gathering.

Talk about service. Too bad it wasn't "we have magical upgrade news!" LOL
