When we went on the Dream, the Princess Gathering was still first come first served. Now, I understand these are ticketed events? For both the Princess Gathering and meeting Elsa and/or Anna if they are onboard? Has anyone had recent experience with this, especially on the Fantasy? I ask because my daughter would (probably) be heartbroken if she can't hang out with "her people" AKA the princesses onboard. What are some tips that you have for making sure you can attend the gathering and meet the Frozen characters (assuming they are there). Also, final question, do these meet and greets show up on the Personal Navigators? Or are the times and locations only on the ticket? I'm assuming they only do these on the at sea days too.

THANKS!

All it is is a queue and to give everyone a better experience. If you go to guest services early in the cruise you WILL get tickets no worries. It's better you know when you will go, you know it's limited do you know you will get the time you want, rather than get there and be behind 200 cruisers and the line closed.

Normal meets show up in the navigators but the ticketed ones are controlled.

Just go to the location stated in the Navigator on embarkation day to get tickets to the Princess Gathering and Anna and Elsa. As long as you go on embarkation day, you shouldn't have any trouble getting tickets. They aren't trying to limit the number of people greeting those characters, just controlling the crowds by spacing everyone out more evenly.

You will need to pick up tickets the day you board the cruise. It is clearly listed in the Navigator when and when to pick up the tickets. The day of you event you will be given specific time to show up. Don’t show up early because you will not be let in before your assigned time.

I don’t think it will be listed in the Navigator when the ticketed times will be. This could cause problems of people showing up that don’t have tickets.

Here is a link to a Navigator from the Dream. Look at the left side and you will see about picking up tickets. This will give you an idea of how it will work on your cruise.

Good information, thanks for the posts! Is there an active secondary market for these tickets?

I'll just add, we were recently on the Magic and even with a relatively late PAT and boarding group we did not have any trouble getting tickets for both gatherings. If you let the CM know you want both, they will likely schedule them back to back for you. We had Anna and Elsa at 9:15 and Princess Gathering at 9:45 on the same day.

The tickets are only good for the cruise you are on. I don't know how you could get the ticktes to anyone else

Thanks for all the info! Amy idea if these meet and greets are only in At Sea Days? Thanks again!

we got on the ship at around 12:30, 12:45 and we had no problem getting great times on the Wonder... they try and and avoid any times where you have other activities or excursions booked... it seems they are mostly on at sea days

These meet and greets are not just on Sea Days. We were just on a 4 day Bahamas cruise and there were times available on the Nassau day as well.

OK, so if I understand correctly, I go straight to Guest Services and I will have some choice in when we do the Gathering and Anna/Elsa. Thanks so much! One less thing to worry about. Now, how to pack all the costumes...

No, go to whatever location is listed in the Navigator. You will receive the first day's Navigator when you check in at the port. The information regarding tickets for the meet and greets is generally on the first page at the right. It will list a location, like the Port Adventures desk, where you can get tickets.

On the Fantasy two weeks ago and we went to the Excursions desk once on board for tickets to both the princess gathering and Anna and Elsa. We had tickets for 9:00 and 9:15 the next day. There were only a few families in line for tickets before us so it only took a few minutes. Just look at the navigator once on board for the info.
