What is the princess fantasy faire like??? Are there specific times to go?? or is it the type of thing were you just go as you please and they have different things going at all times of the day??? thanks for any information you can give.

Princess Fantasy Faire (or more strictly, the "Walk of Fame" I think this part is called) is always basically a long line and at the end, you can meet 2-3 princesses (most often 3 but the official line is "2 or 3"). The line is rarely under 30 minutes, and over an hour is not unheard of.

If you are visiting at least during Summer Nightastic! season, they also had storytelling and the Coronation Ceremony behind the waiting area. Storytelling is just a princess telling her story; kids (and adults) could sit close or in the bleachers and listen.

I'm not sure if it's still working this way now, but we saw the end of the first Coronation Ceremony of the day--3 princesses danced and it was pretty cute. Then a few minutes after the ceremony, the princesses that were in the ceremony came back out for a meet-and-greet, so you could actually get in line and meet the princess of your choice (out of the three).

By getting through the Princess Fantasy Faire line about the time the coronation ceremony started (the line was about 30 minutes, probably because the park opened the same time as the Fantasy Faire), and then hanging out after the ceremony, we would have in theory been able to meet 6 princesses in about 1 hour! (I wasn't real interested in meeting any of them--I'd met my favorites, Tiana and Belle, in the "Walk of Fame" itself--but my friend was finally able to meet Aurora. :) )

When we went to the faire, we skipped the long line to meet the princesses. We had met most of the princesses at Ariel's for lunch. My daughter enjoyed the coronation and coloring activity.

My daughter really liked the storytelling and coronation. They used to post the times they had them in the same paper that lists the times for parades and fireworks.

We did this with our almost 3 year old on a very hot day in the park. But it was our last day. They very kindy told me each aisle of the roped waiting are equaled about 1/2 hour. We were there for about 50 min so they were spot on. We met three princesses and they spent about 2-3 minutes with DD. Jasmin spent about 5 and the line got really backed up but she was very taken with DD and they swapped a bunch of stories- very cute- and made the wait so worth it but not a normal thing I am told. Cinderella also took a very cute pic with our 5 month old son.

Will we do it again with this trip? Probably. But I will let my husband, son and mom go ride It's a Small World while we wait!

wondering if Princess Fantasy Faire is open during off season, we are going to be there in October. Didn't pay any attention last year because we went to Ariel's Grotto for lunch, but thought we might try something new this year.

yep its open year round and just as busy! ;)

Sorry to ask a really stupid question, but are there separate lines for each of the princesses or just the one for all? TIA!

Princess Fantasy Faire runs year-round (if you go when it's cold, Belle and Jasmine (if she's there) may be more covered up, though!).

Unfortunately, you just wait in line and then get to see 2 or 3 (almost certainly 3) random princesses. There's no way to know who you'll see, so you could wait in line twice and still only see 3 different princesses.

IF you're going during the on-season this year, you might try my Coronation Ceremony tip--if it works, then you DO get a (short!) line to meet a princess. That tip worked in early-to-mid June. Good luck!

The best tip to avoid a really long line is to get there early. During our recent visit, we went right as it was opening and only waited about 30 minutes as opposed to an hour. It was still a pretty long wait for such a short meet and greet time.

Do they still have the Coronation Ceremony, the show with three Princesses and the Maypoles? I heard it was gone for a couple years, then brought back, but I'd like to know if it's currently offered. If so, are showtimes posted at the stage or in the Times Guide?

I just did PFF with my 4 yr old on Friday. I just (literally) couldn't stomach another meal at Ariel's Grotto.
The coronation and storytelling times were posted in the activities list you get when you enter the park. We got there a little early and there were several ladies and gentlemen in waiting mingling with the kids. The show was cute and Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora came out to dance. One of the CM told me it was possible that the princesses would come out for a meet & greet afterwards but it wasn't guaranteed. The line for the walk of fame was so short, though, that we went there directly from the coronation.
We waited less than 15 minutes and saw Ariel, Belle and Jasmine. We then returned to the theater for Aurora storytelling (which was cute).

I THINK the Coronation Ceremony is offered on the weekends during off-season and daily in the busy season.

When you go back toward Small World, and are very close to Small World, look to your left. It's in a giant "tent" you won't miss it, it's huge.

Thanks!

So many of the things that I want to make sure to do are for my DD - in years past I never would have thought to look for this or other things like character meals or Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! This trip will be far different than any other trip I've made!
