If Magic Kingdom opens at 9, but they let in the rope drop crowd a bit early (8:45 has been my typical experience), will the princesses start meeting as soon as people are allowed in? Or do they wait until 9 to start meeting?

I only ask bc 2 years ago when we went it seemed that they had us wait until 9 to meet Rapunzel and Cinderella. Said Rapunzel was still brushing her hair....and they weren't used to people lining up so early to meet on that side (frozen characters met on the other side and had a crazy long line).

I just want to decide if it's worth it to rope drop Princesses, or if I should just Fastpass then. I'd hate to have to wait extra time if they don't actually meet til 9...

My experience is that the walk to Princess Hall leaves about 5 minutes of waiting until the first group is allowed in. I don't think the wait would be so long as to not make it worthwhile, if this is a MUST-do for you.
