Princess Fairytale Hall

Jasmine has her meet with Aladdin in the Magic Kingdom already too.

Honestly...I'm a bit more irritated that Cinderella is a "guarantee" there. You can meet Cinderella at every "princess" meal on the property already. Maybe most people like Cinderella...

Well, it IS her park. :goodvibes I would hope Aurora would be a guarantee at DL.

I'm well aware Jasmine is with Aladdin but she also covers Town Square Theater currently in case Cinderella, Rapunzel or Aurora can't make it. That makes me think she will continue this position at Fairytale hall.

They could never remove Cinderella from having regular meets. Can you imagine how unfair (and how ugly parents would get) if you could only meet Cinderella at a dining establishment? People get up in arms about Piglet, the Mad Hatter and Prince Charming as it is and they aren't as a huge a draw as Cinderella. A great majority of people don't do character dining as the PP said.

Apologies if I'm touching on info covered in previous posts, but when I was there Nov/Dec, I'm pretty sure there were 5 princess' advertised? Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Tiana and Rapunzel? Or was it only 4 and one of those 4 was replaced with another? Was Jasmine added later on?
The concept art shows a portrait of Mulan aswell (although I'm sure what is shown on them is subject to change). Possibly out of those 4 it will be roulette with who the other princess' would be

That sounds about right, but as I'm sure you know plans change.... ;)

Tiana was most certainly up there for awhile but I believe they took her down. I thought I had pictures of the before and after line up up there but I can't find them. I believe and I will confirm tomorrow that currently Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora and Jasmine are the Princess's on the construction wall. I remember specifically that Rapunzel was not on the wall.

For now the ones we've heard are moving to the new place is Cinderella, Rapunzel, Aurora and the fourth one is the one we are not sure yet. There are several ideas I have heard, but they are only rumors still. Sooo, I don't feel comfortable discussing them.

Rapunzel is very popular. Last summer we waited in line for 90 minutes and the year before about the same. She is one of our favorites and I agree with the others, it is the only place to meet her.

I was going to say that Rapunzel is way more popular with the little girls in terms of merchandise. I'm glad to see both Rapunzel and Cindy. I am just disappointed we'll have to wait in 2 lines. I have twin girls, one's fav is Cindy, the other of course is Rapunzel. I hate splitting up in the park, so this stinks for me.

You don't have to split up. Just do one line and then the other. This is the same set up for Storybook Circus. :goodvibes

In the artists drawing on Disney Blog they have pictures of Cinderella, Tiana, Sleeping Beauty and what looks to me like Mulan in the corner. It would be nice if they had another spot to meet Rapunzel as when we went the wait was over 2 hours!! That was just after the release of the movie though so hoping it won't be so bad when we go next year. My nieces both love Rapunzel.

Here is the website address if you want to check the drawing out for yourself. Just need to put http in the front as haven't posted enough to have link on my post. :(

I think the PP is concerned that the lines will be longer than the ones at Storybook Circus, and they could end up waiting in 2 lengthy lines.

I'm curious about how FP will work for this. I can't imagine they won't keep this a FP attraction since they need as many FP slots as possible to populate that system, but it would seem that maybe it would take 2 separate FPs to do the princesses now. That just doesn't even seem reasonable. Yet, I can't see them allowing access to both lines with one FP.

I don't think that having two lines will be that bad because you will probably have roughly the same number of people who want to see the princesses...and if you only want to see one or two, then your wait might be less.

I wonder if they will eventually move Merida because of the new princess, Princess Anna? Her movie Frozen is supposed to be out in November. I wonder when they will have her meeting in the parks?

The studio "owns" that M&G area - so if they want to promote their new film with the latest character, that's who will be there.

It seems ridiculous to have to line up twice for four Princesses. This is a similar concept to the Circus Meet and Greet.
Totally agree! I thought the same thing. You end up having to make Sophie's choice!:scared1: I wasn't a fan of that idea w the circus meet n greet. I wanted to see Donald! But we only had time for one and my daughter was NOT leaving without a pic of her and Minnie. :lovestruc

do you know if they will post who the second princess is at each location, or will that piece of it be princess roulette?

I'm sure Kenny the Pirate will be on top of that! :cool2:

I still have a hard time accepting Rapunzel as a "Disney Princess" so that might have something to do with it. What do you guys think?

Hmmm... No I dont take issue with Rapunzel as a "Disney Princess". Why do you feel that way? She was the king & queen's daughter so... do you mean she is too new to be a classic princess? Or did you just not like the movie ;) Do you feel the same about Merida? :scratchin

THis may be taking it a little OT, but...
As much as I love her, I take more issue with Mulan being considered a princess than Rapunzel. She isn't decended from royalty or married to royalty... But I do love Mulan either way. Mushu is hilarious

True, but some of us can't afford to do the princess meals and the M&G is the only way for us to meet Cinderella. princess: And I think most people do like Cinderella where the other princesses... meh...

I hated the circus set up too and really for understand why they are doing it this way? Why not make them all like the character spot? I love that set up and especially when there are "bonus characters" in the hall as you leave :)

When Rupunzel first started meeting in DL she had her own personal meet & greet where she could let her hair down; as in it literally was wrapped around the entire room and ceiling. Does she have the same setup in MK?

I think the circus set up is perfect! People love the idea that they can go and see one side with the girls and the other side with the boys. I think the whole thing from a CM and guests point of view is brilliant. Unless the park is really busy I don't see the line that huge. Well except when it's raining but that's not exclusive to them it happens everywhere in the park.

Is it confirmed that the princess hall will have Fastpass? Doesn't the one at Disneyland doesn't offer the Fastpass option?

No she does not.

I haven't seen anything definitive about FP. But with them adding FP+ to everything else, I don't see them taking FP off of this attraction when it moves. They need as many FP+ slots as they can get to make the capacity workable when FP+ rolls out.

I don't know if DL has it or not, but WDW is really out in front on this FP+ thing, with DLR quite a ways behind.
