Does anyone know where I can get princess dresses? They use to have them at the Disney store, right? Can't find them now. I was hoping to pay no more than $30. Does anyone know if they have them at the discount stores in Florida? If not, do you know how much they are at the parks? Or, do you know if they have them in the hotel stores? Would love to get them for my girls for the princess breakfast which is the day after our arrival.

PATS #1 - per my son......

Have you tried Ebay? Or Disney.com?

When we went in September, I got my DD3 a Cinderella "dress" at Kohl's. It was actually a nightgown, but when I dolled her up with shoes, hair ribbons, etc. she became a princess. I was concerned about comfort. I did not want her to have to deal with a lot of fluff and scratchy material all day.

Have fun!!

We always were on a very very TIGHT budget when my daughter was small, so we never bought her a princess dress. I still regret that! To compensate, I love going into Tinkerbell's Treasures which is right behind the castle. You can watch tinkerbelle and hear her fly through the store, and smile away at the little girls picking out their special princess dress! DD is 18 now, and no matter what we buy her SOMETHING from that store, now. Its not a princess dress, but I can still remember when my little princess was that age!

Long story short... Tinkerbell's Treasures at MK!

I bought DD a really pretty Belle dress on e-bay, it was prettier than the Disney Store and the material was not so itchy - she has very sensitive skin and those@ the Disney Store break her out. I paid around $40 & that was close to Halloween, they're probably cheaper now.

I know I saw some the other day and I want to say that it was at walmart in the toy department. I don't remember the price. Also a while back I did see some in the dress up department at toysrus. I think the dresses that are sold at disney are $45++ at downtown disney.

We found a Cindarella dress at the Disney Store at the Outlet Mall in Orlando last year (or maybe the year before). It was 1/2 the price of the similar ones at MK.

Do you sew or know someone that does? Simplicity has Disney patterns. Otherwise, I also say try ebay.

I have to say ebay too. Check the private listings. But last week I was browsing through the ebay stores and the they have a Disney liquidator store-- they had the dresses for under $10.00. A HUGE bargain!!

Target has beautiful Disney princess dresses! My DD has Cinderella and Tinkerbell, but they had 2 others when I bought...just can't remember which ones. They were only $20 each...great price for the quality!! They are nicer than the dress up trunk of dresses she received for Christmas that came from the Disney store that was $80!!

I think WalMart also carries some dresses, maybe even the same ones.

In both stores, they are in the girlie toy section...with the rest of the dress up and princess stuff. Both stores had some costumes at Halloween, too...more expensive and much less nice!

Thank you all so much. I am sure that with all of your ideas I will be able to find a dress or two for my little princesses.

They do have cinderella and snow white dresses at Wal-Mart. Very beautiful. Only $20.00. They even have the matching shoes and crowns that you can buy separately. Just bought my DD the Snow White outifit for our trip in April!

Are the ones at Wamart the ones in the boxes? I bought one of these for my little one but my 8 yr old won't fit in one. They are pretty small. Are these the ones that you are talking about? Or, are they hanging up in the toy section?

The ones I saw were hanging up in the toy department near all the other princess stuff.

They were hanging up in the toy section, and I am not sure if they would fit an 8 yr. old? Depends if she's small for her age. I think they are made for 3-5 yr. olds. My little girl is 5 and it just fits her.

you have to really search to get princess dresses in a size bigger than 6x-- i just ordered one for my 8 yr old from a costume store.

here are some websites
www.buycostumes.com
wwwcostumeman.com

if you use the search tool and put in disney princess costumes you'll get alot of other sites. E-bay is a good place to start, but they aren't always selling the size/princess you may want.

Good luck!

I have boys. They refuse to dress up as a princess! LOL

But, I would try disneystore.com if all else fails.

Thank you I will certainly give it a try.

Paula: I will let you know if I find any of these at the walmart near my house.
