I understand that if you buy something at the stores at the parks, they send it back to your room/resort. If we bought something, would they maybe let us send our dress-up clothes from breakfast back with the new item?
Thanks for your input!

I dont know about them sending it back to the resort, I wouldnt think they would do it, but you could rent a locker at the front of the park and put them in there.

Will you have a stroller? If so, you could put it in there. Will you be driving to the park? If so, maybe one adult to make a quick trip back to the car to put them up.

As far as the dress taking up a lot of space...you could buy some of those space bags. We have some that we use when traveling. You put the item in the bag and seal it up. Then you roll the bag up to remove all the air (through special one way valves at one end.) When you're done, your big puffy princess dresses will be essentially vacuum-packed in a ziplock bag and should easily fit in a backpack.

This is what we did. Make sure they are the TRAVEL Space bags. They come in different sized. Still suggest they be put in a backpack , but they will be ale to then fit. They will also be safer from getting torn or wet/stained while in the bag.

Many princesses also wear their dresses in the parks all day (depending on the comfort level).

My DD usually wears her princess dress all day and loves the extra attention the CM's give her because of it. I am always prepared though to stuff it in a bag and hang it on the back of the stroller.

Speaking on princess dresses....does anyone know where to get princess dresses in smaller sizes (12-18months and 2T). I've only seen them in 4-5 and up.

1. Buy the Hefty ziploc bags that are 2.5 gallon - They are HUGE! Put a dress in each one and squish all the air out.

2. I have seen smaller princesses dress at Walmart (I'm cheap). My DD is 2, and my mom had to make the Cinderella one a bit smaller, but it worked!

DD also wore hers all day - she loved wearing it! I got it at Target cause I too am cheap  We had a sling backpack to stuff it in if necessary or under the stroller.

You might have luck at disneyoutlet.com -- we got stuff in 3T there, and it was easier to find 2T than 3T.

When my little one was 17 months old, I bought her a generic pink princess dress princess: at Toys R Us (one that carries clothing). I think it was Koala Kids brand. They came in sizes as small as 3-6 months I think, and they ran really big. For 2T you may be able to use the size small from www.mydressuptrunk.com . We have several dresses from MDT and love them. We have had to hem all of them, though.

Indeed, let them be princesses for the whole day! I have 3 boys and it is delightful to see peoples' little girls doodled up! They will outgrow them eventually won't they so use them as much as possible.

We always stuff ours in the bottom of the stroller. Although, unless it's really hot outside my girls like to wear them the rest of the day. :thumbsup2

They will let you ship other things back to the hotel, we have done this before. I think that you do need to purchase something though. After the 3rd day in a row of pouring down rain we were sick and tired of walking around in wet shoes so we bought new shoes and they shipped our wet shoes back to our room. They did tell me that since it was not their merchandise they were shipping that they would not be liable. They arrived just fine though.

I stuffed my dds in a locker.Depending on when you go , those costumes are Way too hot and scratchy to wear in a hot and humid theme park all day.

Thanks for all the input, we'll see how the moods are on our dress-up days and just go from there! Thanks again.
Mary
