We will be staying the first week of oct. DD (8) and DS (6). I really want to do a princess dining experience, but I am not sure. We were there last year, and my son would have NOTHING to do with the princesses. I want to do it before my daughter gets too old. What does everyone think?

Also, if you were going to do one princess encounter, would it be CRT, Askerhous, or Park Faire 1900?

Absolutely do the princess meal! We've enjoyed breakfast at both CRT and Akershus and would do either one again.

I have gone to both CRT and 1900 Park Fare. This year we are trying Akershus.

1900 is the only one that doesn't include a Photo Package. At CRT your son will get a sword and wishing star.

Well we did CRT and Askerhaus. DD3 loved both. My DS5 really didn't want to do either but was excited about the sword at CRT. I think we will do CRT again this year. Last year he would not take a picture with any princesses but I told him if we go there this year he has to take at least one. As a million threads have discussed, why oh why isn't there a boys meal!

My hands down favorite is CRT. But your son would probably enjoy the antics of the stepsisters and Lady Tremaine over at 1900 Park Fare a lot more. They are usually VERY entertaining!

Do it. My son is 8 and he stills goes. He does not love it but he does it for his sister. We never make him take pictures (which helps). I think the castle is the best, esp. because boys love castles and there are knights costumes to look at and they give the boys swords. I feel it is the most boy friendly.

Okay Silly question must be asked:) DD10 is being charges as an adult, but I know she would rather have the french toast sticks, will they still serve her the sticks but just charge my the adult price. We have reservations for the castle next week, so I'm just curious how this will work for her.

Also, what the heck is stuffed french toast:rotfl2: What if I dont like stuffed french toast, i want mine unstuffed:rotfl:

Check the menus.

I'm rather picky so I stick to breakfast at CRT and will go with breakfast at Akershus when I can book my ADR's.

I feel your pain...I just started a thread about this the other day (lack of boy's character meals).

At least you have an excuse to go with your daughters, lol. I'd be dining alone.:rotfl:

Which one is best at CRT?

Which one is best at Askerhas?

At Akershus - check the menus and see what you would prefer. There will be 5 princesses at each meal.

At CRT - there will only be 5 princesses at breakfast and lunch. Dinner just has Cinderella for a photo (like breakfast and lunch) - but has Fairy Godmother doing a short show for dinner - no other princesses. If you are looking for lots of princesses - skip dinner here.

My whole family love askerhus at Epcot, the dinner was pretty good food, and if your on the dining plan it is only 1 table service. My youngest loves that Mary Poppins was there because she loves that movie.

I hear about Mary Poppins being there a lot, but don't go just to see her. I've been here several times and never caught her there!
