My 90 days are past by about a week but I have been thinking about trying to book a princess character meal. I figure the CRT breakfast is booked. Do you think that there may still be opening for the lunch since it is new?

What are your thoughts on CRT vs. the Epcot princess breakfast or lunch? Which is better in Epcot, breakfast or lunch?

Any recommendations for good times to go?

This may be a moot point if everything is already booked.

I would go ahead and call Disney Dining you may be surprised. I have never been to the CRT breakfast but have done the PSB in EPCOT. The food was really good and I thought the Princess interaction was great. We had a PS for 8:30 and got to see the opening of the restaurant. We are doing the CRT lunch on our upcoming August trip. I called 90 days out for the lunch but then called back a week later and changed the date to earlier in our trip with no problem. Got the time I wanted and everything. Enjoy your trip!!

Holy Moly! I called to get the Princess Storybook Dining for my trip and it will be closed during that time. Then the CM checked CRT for lunch andrealized there was a breakfast availability!!! I can't believe it and neither could the CM. So, that solved my dillema. We're doing a CRT breakfast. :cool1:

Congratulations on getting CRT. :cheer2: I also called about the other and was told it was closed. :sad1:

Did they say how long it will be closed? We always go to CRT, but wanted to try Storybook this year. We are going Nov 27 - Dec 4.

Planning06 I had the same thing happen, we couldn't get into the Princess Storybook (that makes me sad, I really want to meet Aurora! princess: ) but the CM found us lunch at CRT. :cool1:

Sorry Kenziesmom, they didn't say how long it would be closed.

It was only closed until sometime in September. It should be open by Nov/Dec.

Undertheseas, last time we went Princess Aurora was at CRT. You may get to meet her still!

We went to CRT last September and met Aurora as well. I thought the food was great but the princesses were not the friendliest bunch. everything seemed very rushed

I have a PS for the Princess dinner for September the 16th. This was made by the Polynesian Concierge for us. I hope its correct.

you can call disney dining and check on it for yourself if you are nervous. ours was made by the poly concierge last year for breakfast and everthing was fine they gave us a confirmation number and when you get there they print everything out with the confirmation numbers on it for you. but i did call and verify it with disney for myself.

You all made my day! I hope we see Aurora, she's my favorite princess :cool1: I really get into this, in case you couldn't tell! I want to do breakfast with Mary Poppins but no one else in my family does. (sigh)

We had breakfast at CRT last November and saw Belle, Aurora, Mary Poppins, Snow White, Cinderella, AND her Prince!!!! What a treat!!!!

We ate at CRT 2 years ago, and it was wonderful. The food was great, the view was nice, and there was a good selection of characters. I'l definitely try and go again. princess:

Hey Kenziesmom , I'm also a Kinseymom!!! My little girl is 4yrs old. We did the princess storybook last Feb. and were unimpressed!! We never complain while we're in Disney but we booked the breakfast for 8:30 and they brought out the iron skilled with hashbrowns, bacon, eggs, & biscuits. We like the buffets better. The princess walked around once and on every picture the princess would tell Kinsey to stand up in her chair and they would stand beside her and when wicked Mulan came by she told my daughter that chairs were made for sitting not standing. In my disney scrapbook, I have 1 little pic Mulan on the character breakfast page!!! Our fav so far, is Chef Mickey!!! Animal Kingdom's was good too but Chef is the best. Not to mention, my dd likes Mickey and the other characters better than the princesses!!!! We have only been to the CRT for lunch last yr., no characters!!! We're trying out the crystal palace in Jan.
Have fun!!
