We are heading to WDW in 2 weeks, and my dd4 is insisting on trying to pack all her princess dresses. I know we are taking her Ariel costume for her Storybook princess dinner, but is it the common thing for little girls to be walking around in the parks everday, all day with them on? I know we will take a change of clothes to the parks if she gets uncomfortable, but my concern is will she be the only kid doing this, or if I dont pack them will others be wearing them throughout the parks and she'll want me to spend $40 on one there. Also Im not referring to MNSSHP, just the parks in general.
Thanks! :)

It is very common to see little girls in the costumes all throughout the parks. My daughter is definetly in that catagory. Usually she will stay in it all day but she did want to change out of her Sleeping Beauty one at MGM on this last trip as it has long sleeves and it was quite warm that day. Unfortunaly we lost/it was taken from the bottom of our stroller. We reported it missing/lost and it was not retrieved.

If she wants to wear them by all means let her!! They squash well in the suitcase and don't wrinkle much in my experience either!

DD is now 6 and still enjoys wearing her princess costumes to character meals. She also will wear one out for an evening in the parks or part of a day. However when she was 4 - that is ALL she wanted to wear everyday to the parks. I'm talking tiara, gown, shoes and wand!!!! Its really cute. I would always bring a change of clothes thinking she would never last the whole time in such an outfit but my little princess had do desire to wear anything but! :) Happily all those princess outfits do pack down in the suitcase very nicely!! If she is determined to wear them she will. Enjoy her princess years!! Besides you'll get some really great shots!

BTW, the princess dresses in the parks run upwards of $60.00 so definetly bring them from home if you can!

Bring the dress from home, but bring comfortable shoes that match. My dd4 is wearing her teva sandals with her Belle dress. They match, and are waterproof...yay.
