Princess costume in flight?

Would I have trouble if DD4 wears a costume in flight? We're spending our first day in Epcot and DD4 will probably be dressed as Alice, to meet her in the UK pavillon.

My son will also probably want to dress up (as a marvel superhero). Since we'll hit the park as soon as we check-in, since we arrive early afternoon, I'd like them to already be dressed up.

So, I want to know if it'll cause trouble for them to fly in their Disney-Marvel costumes.

We're going from Burlington-New-York-MCO and back.

Why would it cause a problem? unless they have weapons or liquids, jells in the costume or knives or sharp cutting edges (which I don't see on a kids costume) or they are so big the extend into the next passengers seat.

If they have metal in them they might have problems going thru security but other than this they are just clothes. Just make sure they aren't itchy or hard to go to the bathroom in.

How long is your flight? My kids would likely get uncomfortable in most costumes after an hour or so.

I'd probably bring the costumes in a carry-on and then have them change in the airport/resort bathroom once in Orlando. They might get messed up during the flight-and usually costumes aren't that comfortable/durable.

Shouldn't cause any issues with TSA--although if your son's costume has a mask, like for Spiderman, then it wouldn't surprise me if they wanted it off when he goes through security.

Not sure where you're staying but most resorts have nice rest rooms/changing areas near the pool. That could work and make it easier. I can't imagine your son in a superhero costume on a plane, tram at airport, ME bus, etc.
