My niece is taking her niece to DL and asked me about Princess meals at DL. I have no idea what to tell her, as I ahve never been to DL- only WDW, but I thought maybe some of you DISers could help me out.

I need to know where, who and how to make ressies for a Princess meal (breakfast lunch or dinner is fine)

Can you PLEASE help me out?? THANKS

I was just there this past weekend with my cousins. The princess celebration lunch or dinner offers a 3 course meal. The princesses are announced and then visit each table to briefly chat, sign autographs, and take pictures. They are really sweet. When we entered the restaurant (which is down stairs) we first saw Ariel, and the girls took a picture, then at our table we were visited by Belle, Snow White, and Aurora. I'll post pictures later tonight.

I was impressed with the food, presentation, and service.

They also have breakfast, served family style!! We never miss this meal, my daughter loves the princesses!!

It's at Ariel's Grotto in DCA and PS is recommended!

My then 3 yo DD went with her 2 grandmothers and her amazing mother (that would be me;) ) 2 years ago to Ariel's Grotto. She was awe struck with the whole scene and had Princess Aurora enthralled in a 5minute conversation. Well, worth the money seeing my DD face every time a princess graced our table.

Thanks everyone- I REALLy appreciate the info.

Can you please tell me how I make an ADR there?? TIA!

ADRs or priority seatting (PS) as they are called at Disneyland can be made by calling disney dining at 714-781-3463. PS can be made 60 days out

You can sit inside or out. I have not been, so can not tell you the pros and cons of each

There is a couple dollars discount for outside seating, but with the lagoon drained & the construction....it was worth it for us to pay the extra to be inside.

Sitting outside is nice, if it's warm and there is no construction. Right now, I'd sit inside for sure. The Princesses do come to see you whether you're in or outside. :)

They only had outside for our visit but I don't mind. The screaming the girls did when I told them they were having breakfast with Ariel and the Princesses makes anything worth it.

But I will likely try for indoors next time. ;)
