We are planning our dining for this year's trip and I see that CRT is now 2 credits each :scared1: We have always enjoyed having breakfast in the castle, but given that there are 8 of us, that's a lot of credits for breakfast. Is is worth it? Will we be dissappointed with the Princess Storybook Breakfast? The lunch and dinner menus don't appeal to us, but breakfast sounds ok (no stuffed french toast, though :sad1: )

I don't feel it is worth 2 TS credits. I usually pay OOP for this one, and I go for late lunch. As far as breakfast goes, Akershus is just as good, and quite frankly, the service is better. You'll probably see the same amount of princesses. The only down side is you lose the castle, but once you're inside it really doesn't matter to me. We've been to both several times. I would NOT do 2 TS credity for breakfast!

We have done both, and actually prefer the PSB. The princesses seem like they take more time with you, and this last year my girls got to see Belle in her Yellow Gown- They were so excited, and while we were leaving breakfast, Ariel was there in her Blue Ball gown!! So that was a bonus for us.

The setting is still like a medival castle, so I think the atmosphere is really good. I feel that CRT is overrated and so expensive!!

We just did it in January & loved it! The hot foods were brought to the table family style. Typical breakfast foods, eggs, bacon, sausage, and some really good potatoes. They also had a buffet, with cheese, fruit, danish, etc. The service was excellent! Lots of princesses & they took their time, it wasn't crowded & we had a long leisurely breakfast. No one trying to rush us out of there.

If I had to find any faults: They have you take your picture with Belle, when you enter. It's not included in the price like CRT's. But is also quick & not the big ordeal you go through in Castle lobby. They bring the printed package to your table, show it to you & then tell you the cost. It was either $30 or $35, but of course, you see the pics & they've got you.

Sorry, I forgot to take a pic of the food before we ate it all! But this will give you an idea of how it's served.

Breakfast is awesome! We took our two nieces there for 8:30 reservation and it was perfect! We saw Belle in her yellow gown, Mulan, Aurora and Ariel....the food was very good too. If we go back with the kids again we will for sure eat there again.

BTY...we picked breakfast because the lunch and dinner menus looked gross.

Personally I don't think any of the meals at CRT are worth 2 TS credits. I have been estimating $23-25 per TS meal, $10-12 per CS meal, and $3 per snack. That adds up to the $38 per person per day for the DDP. So basically you are paying $50 per person for the CRT meal. That just seems outrageous to me. The only things I think are worth the 2 TS credits are the shows as they cost $50-55 anyway.
