Ok. So at this point... DH and I are trying to figure out our meal plan. Not huge proponents of planning every moment... but figured it'd help us decide what parks to do which day.

So.. this is what we have so far: We aren't planning lunches- we figure we'll see where we are, and use either our QS credits, snack credits, whatever looks good! (So.... please, any suggestions you want to throw at us, please do! I will say... I seem to be the odd duck that didn't like Columbia Harbor House...Also, some of the QS we do will be OOP, like Mara in the mornings, DH and I usually split their breakfast, since he doesn't like to eat before rides. So we're a mix of oop and ddp.

Wednesday Night : Via Napoli
Thursday Morning: Lilo and Stitch breakfast at the Poly (walking around the resort for a little (might have that pineapple drink, lapu lapu?) -- it's so pretty!!! (the resort. not the liquor. Evening:Room & HP movie
Friday Morning: Mara Night :Rose & Crown-- & fantasmic
Saturday Morning: Mara Night: (?? Ann. Date night?)
Sunday Morning: Mara, Lunch: High Tea at the Grand Floridian Night: Room Service ??
Monday Morning: Boma Buffet, then headed home.

So... we had a few empty spots to fill.... We knew we wanted to plan a date night, and then we had 2 TS credits left on our DDP.

So... after lots of talking about the Boardwalk and DTD, (and my Googling places on my phone, and making suggestions.... from Disneyland....) we decided on Fulton's Crab House for dinner Sunday night.

However... they still aren't on DDP! So.... we still have 2 credits!

So.. I send DH some suggestions in an email.. and offhandedly, the little girl in me suggests trying for CRT... but certainly, with us so close... we wouldn't get it. And that's okay by me, I have Stitch! I don't need the Princesses..

So.... DH calls me. There's one spot left for Saturday evening. We can always nix the room service an go there!

So, I start to get excited. DH tries to book it, it won't let him online. Credit card guarantee required.


So! He gives me all our info.... and lets me call.

By this point... I am excited. I take care of my Mom during the day, so I'm at her house, she's watching my niece and nephew... I'm literally bouncing around the house, excited about booking this.

A wonderful CM answers when I call, she's incredibly sweet, doesn't mind that I have the wrong reservation number.... we figure it out....

It's booked.

In the time it took me to call.... someone booked it.

So I call DH back... we talk.... do more online looking... and figure out that we can do earlier that day... maybe lunch? So we get 2 or 3 times, 1900 P F as a backup.... and I call again.

Well, lo and behold, it's open!

Only... I don't have the billing address on DH's card.

It's his work address. And I'm a terrible wife and should know this....

SO. I'm not willing to hang up on the Disney CM. I do NOT want to go through this again.

So, naturally, I problem solve.

I whip out the cell phone, and call DH. While holding the other phone, with the Disney CM on it in my other hand. (yeah. Anyone still believing Stitch is my favorite? )

Finally got it booked, with neither DH or the CM killing me.

In the rest of the day, I'm giddily excited. Like, unrealistically, giddily excited. Like, get to spend all the days in the parks with Stitch, excited. DH is highly, HIGHLY amused, as is my family. (I called up my 39 year old, Ex marine brother, to tell him I got to have dinner with Cinderella. Bless him, he didn't laugh at me. His kids did, though.)

I told DH I was buying a tiara. Joked with him about doing BBB... and we laughed about it...

Then, I was chatting with everyone in the July 11 group...... and found out there wasn't an age gap on the BBB.

Sooo...... guess what I'm doing Saturday morning, at 9:10 am??

And yup- Think we're shooting for the second showing of F that night. Going to eat, then probably take the boardwalk and walk to HS? Have yet to do this.. but it sounds fun.

And I'm ridiculously excited about BBB. The CM that took my call was surprised when she asked how old the little one was I was booking the appt for. But she was great about it!

Like I said-- we aren't going commando this trip by any means... but we are trying to get a list together of stuff we should do. It's not too organized of a list, but I'll post it here anyway. Any suggestions would be great. This is only out 2nd time to Disney, so there could be something great I'm missing-- I've learned so much from the DiS boards- but Disney is a huge place!!!

You can walk from the Boardwalk to HS? When we park hopped from Studios to EPCOT we took the boat. Have you seen Fantasmic before? BBB is really fun! There were a couple of moms doing it while we were there, and they looked like they were having a great time!

We haven't... but I've seen everyone say you can take the Boardwalk from Epcot to HS. Takes about 30-40 minutes...

How come your DH is so all about the UK thing? Is it that good? I've never eaten there but am eating at the Rose and Crown for lunch this trip.

What park are you going to on the 24th? We're going to be at the MK. Are you going to be there on the 20th for the DIS meet?

Finally back home, and on a computer. Man. I love my smart phone... but as my sole internet source for 4 days? No thank you..

No huge trip update today- will probably update tonight, DH is recording again. . . . .

Went to Kohls, got DH 2 pairs of jeans, and I found a navy blue tank top (with cream lace on the back... a racer back top, I think, is what the shape is called? Would need to wear a sports bra or strapless with it, even if the back wasn't lace. And, some khaki colored (really soft) shorts. That.. aren't exactly cutoffs in the sense that jean shorts are, but... they're cut off. Does that make sense?

That came out to $96! I do NOT shop enough. Usually just get a piece or two at a time.... and DH and I never buy things together. Usually we're just shopping for one or the other.

We got ten dollars of Kohl's cash as well.... not that we have the money to spend it now. Maybe i'll hit the clearance racks when we get back.....

Hit Wal Mart, bought some of the blackout curtains to put up while we're gone.... toothpaste, deodorant, etc. Picked up dryer sheets too, so all we'll have to buy at AKL is detergent.

So funny- my Mom went shopping with me this week, and told me in no uncertain terms... that my little purse just wouldn't cut it for this trip.

And of course, this woman has probably 20+ purses. Not that she uses all of them... but you know. So... she finds me this bigger, multi pocket purse, that will be better for carrying things on the plane/in WDW. I laughed. A lot. Didn't really want the purse... but I'm finding out that I like the pockets quite a bit....

Gotta run buy ziplock bags today... and a CARE USB Medical ID bracelet from Walgreen's today- put my info/CT scans on it. Anyone ever use one of these before? I want to get a "pretty" MedID bracelet as well. Or, just put a medical charm on my charm bracelet, & carry a wallet card. But these are only like 7 dollars, and the USB seemed like a great idea for this trip.

Anyway. Gotta run. Doing laundry today as well... Will update soon, with flight info (and how I'll probably be the only one finding the bar at 6 am..... ) and carry on lists, fun things like that.

Also... DH and I got given a room with 2 beds at AKL last year. They fixed it and put us in a room with one bed, but I'm wondering. Should I call and request a room with 1 bed? Or wait till we get there and see? I don't want to be the *****y customer who is like, "Well, LAST year this happened... so like, can it not now??" You know?
Also, who is on Google +? I think I'm going to update there from Disney ... but not my Twitter or FB.. Would rather not broadcast that we're gone. So, if you like, add me. Your trip is so close!! I'd call and ask about a room with 1 bed. They'll probably note your request on your reservation and then you'll have a better chance of getting your request than if you ask when you arrive.
