Princess and pirates parade vs. spectro magic

Hi. I am going to the princess and pirates party on labor day and was wondering if weather is really nasty on the other day we planned mk, do you think we'd be missing out big time if we don't do the 2nd day considering we will have 8 hours at the park (told by several people we could enter at 4) on the party night? Would you be really disappointed to miss the spectro magic parade? I've heard the fireworks at the P&P party is even nicer than Wishes, so I'm not worried about missing those.

We have just been to 2 P&P evenings (11th & 21st Aug). The fireworks are amazing, with lots of images projected onto the castle. The parade was on twice during the evening. It is one of the rare occassions that you will see Tinkerbell in a parade !

If you can see Spectromagic, I would definetly try. You could always catch it on another trip though if you did miss it (it took us 3 trips before we actually saw it). It is beautiful to see! You are going to love Pirates and Princess Party! When we went we literally walked on all the rides with no wait. In fact with Space Mountain there was myself, my mother, and 2 other people and that was it for the ride at the time we got on. It was that way for everything.

I like Spectromagic okay - but I loved the P&P Party parade. It was so awesome to see Tinkerbell! I was more excited than DD

I agree the P&P is great...not as crowded and so many characters to see better than Spectro...Also I think less frightening for little ones...We went in Feb and will be there also on the 3rd...6days to go...Have fun!

I'm just praying Labor day isn't going to kill us crowd-wise. It seems to me that folks would NOT want their kids out until midnight the night before the first day of school. Here's hoping!!! Thanks for the input. I'm really, really excited. I'm off to find my eye patch...
