Princess and Pirate Panic on Opening Times!!

Hi all

On receiving my tickets for the above party i noticed on the back of them that they state the times for the party are 7-12 (officially), yet when i purchased them on the phone i was told that we could get in at 4pm but would share these hours with guests already at the park (thats what alot of you had already told me).

However, on seeing this and having booked tickets for other party members i thought i'd better check it out so emailed Disney. This was the reply i got ;

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.'

While we appreciate your interest, our understanding is that the tickets
are valid for the party time only, they may open the gates a few minutes
prior.

We hope you enjoy the Disney Princess and Pirate Party!

us.

*****Those of you that have been to one of these parties before - were they really strict on the time of 7pm ? ****

I really do hope i haven't misled other party members now!

Although we had our park tickets we arrived about 6pm at MK and used our Pirates & Princess tickets to get in with no problems, I have read that you can get in from 4pm I suppose they are just covering themselves.

Officially it is 7pm, cast members are supposed to tell you it is strictly 7pm.
We have only done MNSSHP not Pirates yet. Its exactly the same rules. We got there 4:30 Oct before last walked up Main st and they were looking for people to be part of the parade, we were picked to go on the Omnibus and wave to the crowds. They expect people to be there at this time but its all unofficial, I guess to split the crowds arriving, 25,000 people all at 7pm would be crazy.
At Disneyland CA. its different, they dont allow you in until ticket time, eveyone lines up outside DCA. Did that halloween party last Oct.

Several people have reported that they got in at 4pm with just these tickets, so relax

Last Christmas we entered the park at 4.30 for the MVMCP, we were given a wrist band and free to go on our way.

A lot of people book ADrs for ealier than 7pm...hoping to get in with the ticket..Iam sure it will be fine.
I have a 5.30pm adr but if i was denied entry with my ticket I would just use my dis ultimate ticket to get in..do you have one?

Well thanks for all your replies. Thinking about it logically, i guess they would advise people that entry is the time on the ticket not before. Rules are rules

I've chilled out now and am ready to continue my holiday countdown with glee...
