Hi :wave2:

I’ve read quite a few of the PTR and TR and I’ve really enjoyed them so I thought I’d have a go myself. We’re going in 9 weeks exactly so I thought what better way to celebrate than writing our PTR, I just hope it’s not too boring! I am obsessed with planning, I’m sure you can tell. I am a ‘why write 10 words when you can write 100’ type of person :lmao:

I’m taking my beautiful Chloe, who’s 6, on her first trip to Disneyland and I am so excited! I haven’t been for 10 years so I’m looking forward to seeing all of the changes. Chloe can’t wait either, she’s got the guidebook and keeps drawing pictures of the rides that she wants to go on.

This is a special trip for me, because, I get to take my baby to my favourite place in the world!

Here’s a little picture of my princess :)

The things that I really want to do/see are Stitch Live, Tarzan Encounter, Crush’s Coaster and BTM! I also want to try a Glowtini while we’re there so I’m sure we'll manage to fit one cocktail in somewhere! Chloe wants to do most things so we’ll get through as much as we can!

Although Chloe knows we are going, she doesn't know when. I’m just going to wake her up one night and say we’re off! However, there is something else she doesn’t know. For the last few months, whenever I have seen anything that would be good to keep her entertained while we are travelling, I got them and put them away. I decided to check on the stuff today… I have enough for a few children! I've got a bit too carried away! :rotfl: I have decided to put everything in a big box and wrap it up so that she can open it when she wakes up. I have also got her a princess suitcase so I’m just going to put a bow on it :) I’m also going to wrap a separate box for her. I want to put a Minnie Mouse dress in it with a letter Minnie Mouse asking Chloe to come to Café Mickey wearing it that night. Hopefully she’ll like it!

This is the plan for the trip, I’m sure it will change!

Wake Chloe at 4am! Train to London at 5:50. Arrive at St Pancras about 7:30. Get the Eurostar and arrive at about 2pm. We are using the Disney Express Service so we don’t need to worry about our cases after dropping them off.

I don’t have much planned for the day, we’ll have a look around and go on a couple of rides (hopefully). At some point I want to pop into the DLH to book the princess makeover for my princess on Saturday. As far as I know, you can’t book before you go so I want to arrange that on the first day. Chloe doesn’t know about this and I wanted to surprise her. It’s really hard not telling her, I’m excited because I know how much she’ll love it! Later, we can go over to Santa Fe to check in and take our bags up. Chloe can get changed into the Minnie Mouse dress now.

We’re going to watch the parade at 7pm, I know this is daft but I have no idea where this will be/goes so we need to sort that! I’ve got to call and book dining reservations in a couple of days so I was thinking we should book Café Mickey at 8:15 as this will give us enough time to see the parade and get there – I hope! We’ll miss Dreams the first night, as it will have been such an early morning, I thought we could spend the evening in Café Mickey, then go and get some sleep ready for EMH!

On Friday I am hoping to get a breakfast reservation, around 7am as from what I can tell from this site and others that breakfast gets very busy later on. Then we can go straight into the park and enjoy EMH as well as a stop at Salon Mickey :D

Not much planned for the day, CS lunch at some point. I think we’ll probably spend today in the Studios straight after EMH. I am going to book the VIP Dreams Meal at Walt’s. I know people have commented about it not being the best view, however, I am expecting the parks to be busy so I thought it would be nice to have a little bit more space and not have to wait in place as long to see it – hopefully! Also, I did fancy eating at Walt’s so I thought it would be good to combine the two.

Saturday, we can have an early breakfast and go into the park early again and pay a visit to Salon Mickey of course! Then, Chloe can go for her surprise princess makeover

I am hoping to book the princess meal for 4pm, I’m not sure if they are open at this time, I need to check that. That’s it for Saturday apart from fitting in as many rides as we can and hopefully catching Dreams, as long as Chloe isn’t too tired.

Sunday is going to be the same, lots of rides, CS lunch, then we are going to watch BBWWS. Again, depending on how tired Chloe is, we might see if we can catch dreams after this, I know we’ll be cutting it for time but it would be nice to see it a final time. Then off to bed for Chloe and packing for me :sad2:

On our final day, we are just going to get up and check out. I’ve booked Café Mickey for breakfast, after this we can go and enjoy our last day in the park.

I’m not sure what to do later on about eating, we’ll probably go to the Cowboy Cookout Barbeque, as a final character meal at lunchtime. Then we can do a little shopping :woohoo:

I was thinking, wherever we are at 4:30, we can start to leave then that will give us enough time to get to the station, get our bags and get the Eurostar at around 6pm. Then we have another train booked from London at 8:45 so we’ll be home at around 10:30.

So that’s it! I’m hoping we can get everything done that we want to but most of all I hope that Chloe has the best time!!!

Thank you for reading my long PTR :rotfl2:

Sounds like a fab trip :thumbsup2

Your dd is lovely :lovestruc and I love the idea of a box of surprises.

The parade runs from the side of It's a Small World ride, and goes past the castle, round central plaza, down main st and round town square. So lots of spots to choose from :goodvibes

Look forward to hearing more popcorn::
