How do you get the Prince/Princess option - we've booked room only - do we need a package? And what does it include?

I split our room only reservation into two so I could add the Prince/Princess option. Our first 5 nights are going to be the Dream Maker package with the Prince/Prince option. Our last 2 nights will stay room only. A lot of people do room only for the first and last days because they won't be going into the parks. I did it this way because MK should be open late on our arrival night, so we hope to catch Spectromagic. Then, we are going to MVMCP on our last night (Friday). We have the UPH from our Saturday arrival until midnight Thursday. Then room only for Thursday & Friday nights.

The cost this way was something like $5 more per park pass when I compared it to the 6 day PHP I was going to buy with the room only. And I really came out ahead since you get the pins/lanyards and the $25 for Planet Hollywood. The cost of the Prince/Princess add on is a wash since we planned on doing PSB and definitely would spend at least $50 on souvenirs. I felt that getting the PS for the AK and MGM shows was definitely worth changing our reservation.
