Prince Phillip

I was just browsing HugsforEeyore's autograph site and noticed that she has Prince Phillip as a rare character to find and get an autograph. Has anyone else found this to be true. I'm asking b/c we got his autograph last month and I'm really excited if I actually ran into a character that's "rare", since it was our first WDW trip! (And man, was he a cutie! )

He's really rare. Many people never even seen him!!! He's olny out on special events.

Before October, he was very rare. Since then, I've heard that he's been out pretty regularly since he makes appearences with Aurora after the "Let's Have A Ball" show behind the Castle.

Met for first time in Toontown at MNSSHP. But then I saw him in a little show behind the castle, after they did autographs......it was a regular Saturday.

I saw him for the first time this year on November 3rd in this area.

Hey WeirdTigger, looks like my DD met the same Price Phillip! He was pretty cute! We met him at MNSSHP on Oct. 5. He and Aurora signed the same page in my DD's autograph book.

Awww! What a cute picture! You guys must have been ahead of us because Aurora had to step out before we got our turn. I never did catch up with Aurora. Prince Philip said I was "quite the princess" though! He was cute. I could see him trying to make all the girls feel like princesses.

Nope, another different Prince Phillip for us, too. I actually counted three different ones in the pics we got the 2nd week of Oct. (Two different ones after LHAB behind the castle, and a third one on stage with Share a Dream with Mickey). We did get a picture with the above Aurora, but she had a dark haired, dark eyed Prince (kinda reminded me of Darren on "Bewitched" ) This one looks so YOUNG, I must be getting ancient!

Blestmom, I think we got a pic with your Prince, too, the second time we went to see LHAB. He's the one who signed an autograph for us when they cancelled the show and were just doing autographs and pictures.

Wow - nice to know my website inspires threads!!! And running into rare characters always gets our family excited!! And the funny thing is, some weeks a rare character can be out everyday, so the average person walking by make think they are always there and therefore very common! Finding those rare ones is such a right time/right place thing!

And of course, it's just my humble opinion that Prince Phillip is rare! I had the hardest time finding him once for my site! I had to use a parade photo for him for the longest time, since I couldn't find him in the parks meeting! Though now with the "Lets have a Ball", his rareness may be subsiding a tad. But he still only gets out only at one park on a very limited schedule, so maybe I will leave him rare! Or at best, tweak him up to "Somewhat Unusual"! Decisions, decisions!

I just have to say that "our" Prince Philip was as sweet as could be! My daughter was in the back of the line, but she was the only one dressed up like Aurora. He made a big deal of finally finding his princess, and escorted her to the front of the line, talking about how he had been waiting so long for her. She felt so special, and still talks about it...and it was over a year ago! That's why I love WDW...

Do you think the CM Princes are lurking here, thinking it's weird that we all talk about how "hot" or "not hot" they are?
