We are planning our ADRs for our April trip and deciding between these two restaurants which we have not tried before. Any opinions? We enjoy good food and good theming (who doesn't?).

We never go to Disney without eating ay least one meal at 50's Primetime. We have eaton at Mamma Melrose once and while the food was good we enjoy 50's much more...

We enjoy Mama Melrose--the theming is exactly what you would expect for a small Italian restaurant, and we find the food to be pretty good.

Many people enjoy Prime Time, but we don't care for the theming, and think the food is just OK. (IMO, Prime Time is probably better if you have younger children--I think the menu and theming at Mama's probably appeal more to adults and older teens.)

The theme is fantastic, the waitresses are wonderful and the pot-roast is to die for!

PT Cafe was a hoot. The waiters or waitresses know how to play the part, and if you play along, you'll have a blast. The pot roast, or the chicken pot pie, are probably the best things on the menu.

We've eaten at both and find that the food is better at Mama Melrose.

We used to enjoy the food and atmosphere at 50s, but the last couple of times not only was the food dry and bland, but the service wasn't as much fun as it used to be. If you do go there, you may want to request someone really playful and enjoyable like Topher if he is working.
