This may be old news for some, but I just had a moment of joy yesterday~at Prime Time!
We had a last minute trip to WDW so only were able to get a few ADRs (Liberty Tree and Le Cellier).
I did not know you could order food at the bar in Prime Time. This works if you don't have kids in your party. We dove in there to grab an icy drink at the bar and escape the heat. Then we saw a fried chicken platter delivered to a guy a few seats down. WHAT????? You can do that???? So, we did! It was great.
The waiting area was so packed people couldn't even move. Those with ADRs were made to wait up to an hour to get seated. People were getting so irate. We just kicked back and watched it all go down. We had our meals within 15 minutes of sitting down.
So if you're solo or duo (or more without kids), this is a great opportunity to eat there if you don't grab one of the coveted ADRs.
I watched an older woman get SO mad that her party of 4 adults could not get a table. They were a walk up. They suggested the bar but since they had 4 it was hard to get 4 seats together at the bar. She was a miserable, whiney woman who wanted to engage everyone within earshot of her problems. Nobody cared.
