Our first time trying this restaurant on Dec 9th, anyone that has eaten dinner there lately...how is the food and what was great and not great??

We really loved it! The food tastes home cooked. The servers are a blast. We will definately go back again next time. Even my youngest son who was nervous to go after hearing the servers can pick on you, really loved the place. Have fun when you go!

We just ate there last week and we loved it. The atmosphere was great and the servers were so much fun. We all had the fried chicken and it was yummy. The mashed potatoes were tastey and we all loved the smores we shared for dessert. Enjoy!

We ate there in October and it was very good!

I had the shrimp pasta, DH had the meatloaf, and DS had the macaroni & cheese. For dessert I had angel food cake with strawberries and vanilla ice cream, and DH thinks he had a hot fudge sundae. DS had plain vanilla ice cream, because that is the only dessert he ever eats. :)

We would definitley go back - it was fun!

This restaurant is one of our must do's. None of the other MGM restaurants come close!

Glad to hear this! DH is giving up his beloved Brown Derby to give this one a try! :goodvibes

This will be our only repeat restaurant of our next trip! We're trying to eat at new and different restaurants each time we go but have to take our kids back to this one. Here's my recommendations: if you like cheese like I do, the fried herb cheese appetizer is one of the best things I've ever eaten! I ordered the pot roast but wished I had gotten the fried chicken (the pot roast is smothered in carrots & onions I believe which I don't care for). For dessert I'd go with the smores, but if you want to try their pb&j shake which is yummy, get it in a to go cup and if you time it like we did, you can sit on the curb drinking it while watching the parade! This is my new must do. You can't go wrong at this place!

We liked the meat loaf (go figure) and the peanut butter and jelly shakes and s'mores are teriffic and the CMs there are very fun!

We ate here on Thursday and although it is cute place with a great theme and great servers, the food was the worst out of all the TS places we ate at. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. Very blah.

You are so right! I LOVE the herb fried cheese, the meatloaf, and the pb&j milkshake. This is our favorite MGM restaurant. The food is tasty and the theming is a blast if you get the right server. P.S. If you don't eat here, you can still order a pb&j milkshake from the bar in a "to go" cup. princess: pirate: :earboy2:

The 50's is always a MUST on every trip for us. Besides the "games" that go on, the food is very good and the portions are generous. You never come out of their hungry.
I am probably the only one who orders salmon every time we go. It is delicious.....I am getting hungry just typing this!
Have never been disappointed during our numerous visits to the 50's Prime Time.

DW loves the meatloaf and the pot roast and I love the fried chicken. We try to always go there when we are in the park. The servers interaction with the kids is great and they have so much fun picking on the parents.

This is one of our favorites. Unfortunately, we cannot take the little ones with us there during our January trip, since it'll be closed for rehab. :(

I am so disappointed that this restaurant will be closed when I am there in January. I was really wanting to try this one out.

This is the only place I will order meat loaf, anywhere! Haven't tried the PB&J shakes though.... might have to add that to my list for next time.

Thanks everyone! Sounds like the fried chicken is a winner....can you get a white meat plate only??

This was our favorite meal at WDW! I guess we have simple tastes! We split the pot roast. It was so tender!

I really liked 50's PrimeTime Cafe! I had the meatloaf in June and it was good! I will be there on Sunday and I think I will try the fried chicken this time based on reviews from here.

Our family also loves the 50's Primetime. We are going in June and this is a repeat from our last trip. (The only one) Pot roast and meatloaf were our favorites. We were so stuffed from our first visit that we didn't have apps. or dessert so we are thinking about sharing when we go here this time. Will that be o.k.? We may even try the chicken.

What does the PB&J shake taste like? Is it strawberry with peanut butter? Any chocolate? I hear everyone rave about the shake but have been nervous about trying it.

Our server made our experience the best. She put a bib on my husband and gave us all hard time. It was fun.
