Has anyone been to any of the buffets that serve,or used to serve prime rib?:confused3 .I remember reading somewhere that it is no longer available at the buffets-SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: If in fact that it is true,is there a decent substitution?

I just returned on the 3rd and NO WHERE did I see any prime rib. When it was replaced with was HORRIBLE!!!! I was very disappointed!!!

Don if you want prime rib you need to go to Shula's. They serve prime rib and it will be the bigget slab of red meat you've ever seen on a plate.

If you are determined to do buffets, you'll have to load up on other stuff.:earsboy:

recent reports have been that prime rib has been removed from all Disney buffets and a different beef has been substituted. :sad1:

Well that stinks! In Oct Boma and Cape May had the prime rib and it was to die for!

We are going to 1900 PF in a few days, I hope they have it!

I tend to doubt they will have it. It sounds like this is a permanent change across the board at all buffets that used to serve it.

I think if anyone wants "prime rib", you can order it as a steak for dinner at Kona Cafe.

That was my husband's favorite thing about Boma. He must have gone back up 3 times!

There was prime rib at Boma on 12/31. I don't know if it was just for the holidays, but it was the bomb. I'm the type of person who almost always chooses seafood over steak, but the Boma prime rib was the real deal. I'm salivating just thinking about it and kicking myself for eating too many baby back ribs that night (which were also great). I had some roast beef a couple days later at Chef Mickey's, and it wasn't even in the same universe.

P.S. I went to Cape May, but I didn't notice if they had prime rib because I was too busy stuffing my face with clams and mussels.

My understanding is that all of the buffets still have a selection of beef that is cooked similarly to Prime Rib, but it's not actual Prime Rib on any of the buffets anymore.

They now serve a more lean beef.

I actually think prime rib is kind of gross, so I am glad it is being replace with whole strip beef loin.
