I want to buy a kindle. Any chance they go cheaper on prime day? I haven’t shopped on prime day ever, really, and I’ve never priced out kindles. Do they ever go on sale?

I second this. I got my fire stick for $19.99 on Prime Day last year and I use it all the time for streaming.
