Any one who has use Priceline do you find it is good? hard to use?
price better?
Never used it always try for some kind of discount like AAA or a coupon.
If you don't like the hotel must you still stay there? :cool1:   :earsboy: :earsgirl: :cheer2:

I find Priceline very easy to use. The savings are really good, usually 50% off. I only use Priceline when we just need a room, nothing more. You have no idea if you will be getting a hotel with a pool or any other services. Once you win a bid that room is yours, you pay for it. You cannot change. You are able to bid in a certain star level, but Priceline's 3 star and mine are usually not the same. Two web sites that give you an idea of what others have won are www.betterbidding.com and www.biddingfortravel.com. If you are willing to take a chance and are not picky Priceline is a good deal.

we use priceline a lot! I wouldn't use it without using biddingfortravel. If you use biddingfortravel, just make sure you do your homework and answer the questions EXACTLY as they want them. They can be a little harsh with newbies! Like Hens says, use it when you only need a room because its yours after they give you an answer. We have never been disappointed with anything we have ever gotten, but we have been surprised a few times!!

I have used priceline in Tucson, Austin and Orlando. I have not been disappointed in any of the times we used them. Our first time in Orlando, we needed one night at a hotel close to the airport. We were getting in late at night and I didn't want to mess with a car that late. We got the airport marriott for $45. Next time we needed one night and I wanted to stay near disney. We got the Hilton in DDT for $47. We also used it last summer and got the Gaylord Palms for $85. This is a great resort. We would definitely stay here again. We own DVC, but usually like to stay off site on the weekends.

Hope this helps.

Pam
