Pricing the dining plan while using a room pin...

We are going to book our room using a pin code. We plan on buying a magic your way base ticket plan.

I'm trying to get some figures to see if the dining plan will be worth it for our family, but I cannot find any ala carte pricing anywhere. I only see packages that include room, tickets, and dining.

I do not want to book the combo room/ticket/dining package because I have a room only pin. I want to purchase the 3-day ticket and dining seperately, but where I can see prices?

In order to get the dining plan you have to buy at least a 1 day ticket. The good news is that you can save the tickets to use later. If you want to look at menus check our Deb Will's site. Some of the prices will be out of date.

As the PP said, with a few exceptions (for AP holders and DVC members) the dining plan is only available as part of a package with the room and park tickets. The good news is that you can still use your PIN for the room as part of this package.

Additionally, you mention that you're only getting a 3 day ticket. There is very little if any discount available on 3 day tickets, so there really isn't any benefit to purchasing it seperately. Even if you can get it at a bit of a discount you're probably better off just purchasing the ticket from Disney so you can get the dining plan. If you're going to be eating at Disney restaraunts you'll probably save more money by doing that then you would by skipping the dining plan so you could get the ticket somewhere else.

Let me try this again, there seems to be confusion so maybe I wasn't clear.

I have a 40% room pin that will expire soon. So, I need to get that room booked soon. We plan on getting our park tickets from Disney. Maybe I want to do the dining plan too, but I need to price it to see if it is worth it. Where do I see ala carte pricing for the dining plan?

Thanks!

I have the non-peak pricing:

QSDP-$39.99 adult/$9.99 child
DDP-$41.99 adult/$11.99 child
DxDP-$71.99 adult/$20.99 child

Keep in mind that the dining plan does not include tips, so you will want to figure that in when you are comparing costs.

BUT if you are booking a room only , the ONLY way to get tickets and the dining plan is make it a package..Unless you are an ap holder or dvc member, then different rules apply. But other posters have given you the prices to help figure out what that might cost you

What I did was I figured out the price of the package, room tickets and dining plan for the time I wanted to visit and then I called Disney with my pin code. I told them I wanted to add tickets and dining so they changed the pin to accept a package and when she gave me the price I had the price in front of me without the discount and saw that I was still saving over $400 off the rack rate, so I went ahead and booked my trip! :cool1:

I have the non-peak pricing:

QSDP-$39.99 adult/$9.99 child
DDP-$41.99 adult/$11.99 child
DxDP-$71.99 adult/$20.99 child

My calculations show the Adult QSDP working out to 31.99... for December value season pricing.

The quick service plan is only $31.99 per adult. <-confirmed for value season

The regular plan is $46.99 per adult and $12.99 per child during peak season, not sure on pricing of the other plans.

Value season seems to work out to 41.99 for the regular plan.

Sorry about the typo. As others have pointed out the QSDP is only $31.99 per adult during non-peak times.
