I gave in and called about the free dining. I wasn't planning a trip until I got the email. I've never stayed in a value resort, but this certainly wasn't planned and I've heard good things about Pop Century. The email stated $57 per person with the free dining. It would be my husband and I only. I called a few minutes ago to ask for the price for 4 nights at Pop. The only thing I upgraded was to make the tickets parkhoppers. Can anyone explain how the standard room at Pop for 4 nights comes to $927. I know that's cheap for Disney, but for the price in the email, does the parkhopper portion add that much to the price? Can anyone explain this? Thanks

Parkhopper does add quite a bit... you can just check ticket prices at Disney's website and then add it up on your own to see if it works out. :)

They based the ad price on 4 people, so it looks quite cheap per person :goodvibes

Like this - divide your $927 by 4 people and you get $231.75 per person, then divide that by 4 nights, and you get $57+ per person, per night. Ta Da! So they advertise that it's only $57 per person per night, and then you get a big shock!

Edited to add: Just as an example, looking online right now:

Thanks for the explanation. It sounds so cheap in the email. Still a good price, just not as advertised.

Hotel @ $92.25 per night x 4 nights = $369
Two five-day park hopper tickets @ $276.90 = $553.80
= $919.80

I don't know where the extra $7.20 come from.
