How much is AKV per point, direct through disney currently? I've got ADD-ONITIS!! and I'm thinking, buy or rent

Why are you thinking of buying direct through Disney? You can save $$$ by buying resale. Resale points are in the high 70's-low 80's. Direct from Disney is

$120 base price less $8 promotional discount; 100 points
$120 base price less $8 promotional discount; 160-199 points
$120 base price less $15 promotional discount; 200+ points

Yes, you can always make an offer to a seller for less than the listed price. Many sellers are negotiable.

At these prices, I'm not thinking of buying direct through disney. I was originally thinking if it was like $102 thru disney on a very small contract, it would be close to resale with the closing costs added in, but thru resale, with current Disney prices, I can probably save $600 or more. I have to look.
Also, there's like NEVER a 25 point resale, if there are, I'm missing them because they are going so fast. But....must just mean, it's not meant to be at this time. I'll keep my eyes open, thanks for your help.

FWIW, we paid $94 per point @ AKV in December 2009

Just closed on a resale contract in August AKV @ $75 per point

Lots of money to be saved, but I know it takes time and patience to find the right number of points and UY. We signed up with the various resale agents to receive new listings via e-mail. Took us about a month to find what we were looking for. It also doesn't hurt to call the resale agents and let them know what you are looking for. Bet they might help you out faster than you think! When I bought through resale, I was silly enough not to "make an offer" and just paid the asking price. Well, on the positive side, it is at least a better deal than buying direct from Disney.
