We have not been to universal studio for many years.
Is the ticket at the gate the same price as the ticket online on universal website?
As we do not have a printer now, hence I think I may just buy it at the gate.
Will it save me time if I buy ticket online?

Yes. You can just show the ticket on your phone. You can also ask guest services to give you a typical credit card size ticket instead of the whole piece of printed paper or constantly showing your phone between parks.

For a single day, I think prices are the same. For multiple day tickets, online is cheaper.

If staying onsite, you can also buy at the hotel.
