I haven't used Priceline yet and am tempted for an upcoming weekend to Providence. So my question is - Is there a way to select amenities that you want at the hotel? We would like to have an indoor swimming pool for the kids. We actually have reservations at a Courtyard that has an indoor pool, but I'm tempted to try Priceline to see if I can get a better price.

Try asking over at the Budget Board. Lots of folks over there have tried Priceline.............P

Go to www.biddingfortravel.com. Read all the info and frequently asked questions on hotel bids and that should help you. In your star category there may or may not be an indoor pool. I don't know how you would ascertain that, since that isn't a criteria for the number of stars.

No, there's not a way to list such amenities, only star levels.
