So I actually have a Disney package for 6 nights, but decided to take a late night flight and was able to get a really cheap room for the additional night through Priceline. My problem is the reservation only says 2 adults but we have two children with us as well, so are they going to have an issue getting on DME?? We will be arriving after midnight so will they be able to see our 6 night reservation at that point???

Note: Your first night additional room reservation might be unsuitable for your purpose.

You should have looked for and plugged in data for additional persons before booking the room. To add the extra persons (your children) now, you might have a very large upcharge that wipes out any savings you got by booking through Priceline.

Alternatively, for a pre-vacation Priceline room near the airport you simply call the DME phone number (toll free 866-599-0951) and make your DME reservation going to Disney for the next day (your resort package check in day). Give the time you will be back at the airport for DME that next morning. You can say you are are "unsure of your morning incoming flight" "at this time" if you are asked about that.

Or if Priceline gave you a Disney's resort for that new first night then call the DME number above to make a late night DME reservation for immediately after arrival in Orlando and see what happens. Since all rooms can accommodate at least 4 people chances are that the DME hot line reservationist won't verify that the room was booked for only 2.

Was it an Express Deal? Look through the thread in the discount sub form of the Disney Resort Forum. Several posters listed the Disney phone number for wholesale bookings. Call and they'll add the other 2 guests to your reservation. I'd try the same number if you booked a regular PL reservation.

PP isn't offering any useful or accurate information.

PL Express only books for 2 guests. No option to specify more then 2. Almost never an issue in Orlando. Almost all rooms sleep 4 and hotels have no issue accommodating families. Using PL to book a room for more then 2 guests is risky in other locations.

You'll have to get your own luggage. What airline? JMO Southwest passengers should consider spending a few dollars for an Uber or Lyft. Southwest passengers have to go back up to level 3, shelp their bags to the opposite corner of MCO then go back down to level 3. You'll be in a car on your way to WDW in less time then it takes to walk over to the DME location.

To clarify, my Disney package is at All Star Sports Resort and my Priceline one night reservation is also at All Star Sports, so I planned to just explain when I check in so we can hopefully remain in the same room. (We have dining and I didn't want to add the extra night to package since we are getting in after midnight and will have no use for dining that day) I linked my Priceline reservation to My Disney Experience so should I just call Disney at this point so they can modify the number of guests in the room and add DME?????

Fixed it for you. This entire paragraph is incorrect.
Alternatively
No alternatively. OP already made the Priceline/Sports nonrefundable, non-cancelable reservation.

Yes alternatively.
The OP had not said she got the reservation at All Star Sports and when she did say so, that changed the entire complexion of the thread, rendering various points above it (made previously) obsolete.

You will need to call Disney wholesale to add your children to your PL reservation - that is for occupancy purposes, Disney doesn't charge extra for kids in the room so no worries about extra charges. I would also highly recommend telling them about the additional reservation ASAP if you want to try and stay in the same room - room assignments are made in advance and while there's a chance you wouldn't have to move rooms, you'll have a better chance if your two reservations are linked on Disney's end.

DME is a separate entity from Disney, so you shouldn't have a problem arranging DME with your new arrival but they won't add it for you when discussing your hotel reservation. Call DME, yes Uber/Lyft might be easier but for us DME is all part of the experience! I kinda feel like the bubble starts when I board the bus :)

The original post, which appears to have been as it currently is for over an hour before any response (so, no 'edit' notation) sta yes
but decided to take a late night flight and was able to get a really cheap room for the additional night through Priceline.
Nonrefundable, non-cancelable additional night already booked before OP posted.

I think you can book a refundable hotel room on priceline... not the cheapest, but refundable.

Yes, when you book on Priceline and it clearly states what the hotel is, those are usually refundable. But the OP booked an Express deal, which are explicitly stated to be non-refundable. It's one of the risks you take when booking Express deals.

OP (original post) didn't mention that. Just "really cheap". You can assume the non-refundable, but it's still an assumption.

Context clues though - PLExpress automatically does all room reservations for 2 adults and OP specifically mentioned that her reservation only listed 2 adults. Yes it's possible that they booked a transparent deal and forgot to change the # of occupants, but also possible (and likely) it was an express deal which doesn't give you the option to change the number of occupants.

A lot of these third party sellers don't let you add children, or if you do add children, they charge you the extra person room rate, which they shouldn't do if the hotel doesn't charge extra for children in the room - but the third party sellers do anyway.

OP will have to put the children on the reservation to get DME for them. Will probably have to call Priceline and add them (if Priceline allows that - someone alluded to a number at Disney), and make sure you're not charged for them. Then call DME with flight information. Even if you don't you can go to the desk at DME and they will print you a voucher for the bus, so long as everyone is on the reservation. As for staying in the same room, you can request it when you arrive, but no guarantees. It's two separate reservations, so I don't know how much good it will do to tell them that ahead of time.

The only way you get a a really cheap room through PL is by booking an Express Deal or name your own price (not even sure NYOP is still offered)

edited to add Don't call Priceline. Call the Disney number for wholesale reservations. You can find it in the thread I previously posted.

We just recently did an Express deal that ended up being All Star Music. You don't call Priceline to add the kids, you call Disney wholesale. Disney does not charge extra for kids in the room, and will add the kids no problem.

We did a separate Express deal that ended up being Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista, and I also called the hotel directly, not Priceline to add my kids to the reservation. They also did not charge anything extra for them.

The rooms are assigned a week to 10 days before your arrival, so noting on each reservation is a much better way to get what you need than waiting until you arrive.
