Priceline for LAX?

Since I got such great advice about Priceline for the hotel prior to the cruise I thought I'd ask about the night after the cruise. We are flying out on Monday morning and would like to get a hotel by LAX. Has anyone used priceline for a hotel around there?

Unfortunately for us, we have too many people, and we're cruising at spring break time so I couldn't get a priceline room.
