Priceline Express Deals

Seeing a few PL Express Deals in my date range (10/12 - 16).
I'm assuming one of them is Wyndham Bonnet Creek which I would be happy to have, but has anyone booked one of their Express Deals before? What room type did they give you? It says "assigned at check in"

Also, a 3.5 in Bonnet Creek with no review count. $348 per night. King Bed room type. Any ideas?

Regardless of the actual place.....that discount is tiny.

I would not book a non refundable rate to save 68 bucks....life can throw you a curve ball and you are risking 1100 bucks to save 68.

The $1175 "before" price points toward Coronado Springs when I search your dates. My search did not show your Express Deal though. However, my search for October 12-16 properly shows it as a 4-night reservation. Your Express deal calls it 3 nights, and prices it per night accordingly. So, something is wrong. And a room at Coronado Springs is cheaper on Disneyworld.com.

Typo! Or check in is the 13th
Looks like it has disappeared since this post. Typical with express deals! There’s one second, gone the next

BINGO! Was able to snag this and was also able to add extra %15 percent off with the priceline express deal. Grand total little under 350. Overall happy experience.
$350 for 2 nights there is one of the best deals I’ve seen in a while, IMO! Congrats!

Can anyone tell me what the 15% off deal is? I see "extra 10% off express deals" on the website.

In general.....some people with PL accounts get a special coupon every now and then.....sometimes there are also special "app only" discounts.

If you surf the site and have an account.....5 percent coupons are sent all the time.

10 percent off happens every so often.

15 percent off is very rare.

Thank you! I used to get such offers (like 8 years ago) based on past bookings. I guess it's been a while. I did use the "penny" online AI/chat feature to ask about current offers in the app. I am still seeing a lot of information that seems to cap the 10% off type offers at $50, which is better than nothing, but not 10% off a 3 day or more hotel deal.

Now wondering about this one

If one of the mystery hotels says Walt Disney World - Disney Springs, is it one of the hotels in the Disney Spring area, like considered a Disney Spring hotel. Or could it be in the vicinity but even across from the Walt Disney World resort area or down the road? Does that make any sense?

That area includes not only the hotels that call themselves Disney Springs area, but also a few Disney hotels (Saratoga Springs, Old Key West and the Port Orleans resorts), and at least one other hotel, the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. If you are trying to figure out what hotel you are looking at, I recommend using JJTNY's resort matcher, found here: https://c3acv367.caspio.com/dp/a6b6c000276612e50f7b4f49b7fb

or else ask questions in this thread. I suggest providing your dates and all the info you are seeing, such as star rating, number of reviews and guest rating, and the prices shown both before and after discount..

I completed a Priceline stay recently at AKL for their big summer Disney sale they ran during Prime day. They called it “Happiest Price on Earth.” I know many people had mixed results with that one but it worked for me. I had never booked a Disney hotel via Priceline before. I only booked via Priceline because incredibly they were much cheaper for a Savanna view room than Disney direct. I’m pleased to report the view from our room was incredible so we weren’t treated differently in that regard having booked third party. However there was one odd but minor quirk: On checkout day I could not do mobile checkout through the app. Where you’d normally check out the app was telling me to stop by the front desk to check out. I had never experienced that before. Could also be that mobile checkout was down, but everyone on line at the desk seemed to by trying to check in early.

Do you mind sharing what you paid for the room? Just curious:)
Glad you had an awesome stay!

For whatever reason I can never seem to check in or out to Disney resorts on the app, even when booking direct.

Did you do online check-in?

This was for a standard hotel room with two beds in Jambo. Via Priceline, with tax included, Labor Day weekend it was $543 per night Savanna view.
I canceled a water view previously booked direct with Disney which was $657 per night tax included. The Savanna view from Disney was pre-tax $40 per night more than the water view rate. When I called Disney they could not match the rate. Even the cast member was surprised the rate was much better than what Disney could offer. There used to be a time when Disney wanted to control the whole guest experience and keep you in their ecosystem when you or your Disney certified agent booked.
